i want to tell everyone about this thrift is fabulous and it is as good as it is only opened Fridays…1.30-to 4-.30 and it is is located near the Café Allegro which is the University District. The thrift store only takes cash only and the items there are very inexpensive. I brought a sweater there that is warmer then the one that my mother gave me for .25 and it is still good. You can get household wares,.books and even jewerly… If you are on a strict budget… this is the place to go… go and be prepared for all of the items.

~*~* Happy 400th Review ~*~* The entrance to the thrift sale is in the alley near Café Allegro. The door is unmarked, but there are usually folks hanging around and who can direct you. The Thrift sore is only open Fridays from 2−5pm. Cash only. Items here are VERY cheap. I bought a nice heavy winter/ski coat for the hub for $ 2. I bought a jersey knit skirt for 25c. I bought a bunch of valentine’s day cards(new in packaging) for 25c. A sweater pin for 50c. The selection is a mixed bag as is with any thrift store or garage sale. I have come through here, done a lap, and left. Other times, I’m there for almost half an hour. It just depends on the donations they receive and how many people come by. The old ladies who volunteer are super sweet. Be nice to them! Not that you would be mean to a sweet old lady, but I’m telling you, you should be nice to them. For real. Oftentimes they will admire a find when you’re checking out or give little critiques or have conversations about something. It’s cute. They accept donations pretty regularly. They accept things you wouldn’t even think of necessarily, like plastic/paper bags and packaging materials. If you come here to check it out, please remember to bring your own bag because they probably have a better use for it if you didn’t need one for your purchases. I generally give them a few bucks over the cost of my items because everything is so darn cheap and they are doing good work. If you can spare some extra change(round to a whole dollar), I’m sure they would appreciate it. I hadn’t intended to make this review about how much you should donate, but it is always humbling for me to go here and motivates me to want to do/help more. Thanks for reading. Hope you check em out. :)
