–poor management that will speak down to you
–dirty carpeted walkways
–cigarette smoke that seeps in though the vents
–multiple corners cut with the carpentry in units
–overpriced rent, even though they claim to be «low income housing»
I would stay FAR away from Veranda Green Apartments and any of its affiliates, save yourself the headache and look somewhere else!

I live in Veranda green apartment homes for two years,
and i have had a horrible time living there. Mold is a big issue and the apartments are hot and come with loud neighbors. The management doesn’t even help at all.
Make sure that you have extra cash on your hands because they charge you for damage that was not even caused to the unit. I lived in a moldy unit soo bad that my wive had issues with her pregnancy. i kept cleaning the mold but it came back fast all over the house. I’m a asthmatic so of course i called the management and they just took cleaner and painted right over it. some type of place. My car gets broken into there everyone’s car get messed with. If you want to be charged for nothing go to this place. Ask the People that live there now i bet you they wish they can move. Don’t trust the apt!

I lived here a few years ago and won’t ever be coming back. The surrounding neighborhood is relatively remote, but it’s still on a main access road and the noise can be pretty bad. I can’t speak for the management now, but it always seemed like the office was closed or they weren’t available to be reached. The walls of the apartments are paper thin, even for being on a top floor unit which I was.
The only time in my life that I had my car broken into was here. Stupidest incident in my life. The management was uncooperative and had no security cameras in place or any safety measurements to prevent such incidents. So my boyfriend set up our own security camera from our kitchen window to prevent another break in into our cars! How ridiculous when you have to set up your own security camera to watch your stuff. The thief broke my car window and of all things just stole my make up bag. I mean really… makeup. I had nothing else in my car. I think that just tells you about the level of shadyness of the people living in the area and your neighbors.
White Center is not the best area. And to go grocery shopping we had to go up to 1^st Avenue in Burien, which was terrible and scary at best.
Area is cheap — rent wise. But look elsewhere — you will thank me.
