Wanna Teriyaki & Burger

If you are in the area and looking for a wide menu selection you cannot beat this place. The food is prepared when ordered and always super tasty. The burgers are of the mom and pop small restaurant verity but really fresh. this place really shines when it comes to its Asian fair. The small kitchen whips out some complex dishes and never waiver on their quality. I come here often and have never had a bad dish. I’ll admit I stick to their teri most times but I’ve tried most of the menu and it’s been hit after hit.

For being connected to a gas station and in a crappy part of seattle, this place was really good. My friend said the burger was decent and I had yakisoba which is one of my favorite dishes and it really wasnt half bad. Also very clean bathroom which is alway a great indicator of how the kitchen looks

Wanna Teriyaki is much better than the other Teriyaki places around Georgetown/​White Center area. I love their Veggie Burger, which they make in house, and the Lunch special. Also portions are great since I always have some left over for dinner!

If you are looking and like food, just stop looking and eat this food!
I went here because of all the great reviews and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, exceptional food, fantastic service. The store is clean and cute and the signage is really clear. This is a great little neighborhood spot that I actually drive to because I don’t live in that neighborhood.

We really like this place, especially since it’s less than 5 minute walk from our house! My husband is most fond of the spicy pork teriyaki. I alternate between the beef teriyaki, pork teriyaki and shrimp fried rice. Portions are very large, both of us usually get at least two meals out of our orders. You can also request brown rice instead of white rice, which we usually do (we were two of several regulars who requested that they have brown rice as an option.) Friendly staff, good service. You get salad with your order; it’s a pretty simple salad, mostly iceberg lettuce. But it’s fresh. We’ve also gotten gyoza, which are decent, and egg rolls, which are also decent if not great. This place is a good neighborhood teriyaki joint, with options.

You really do wanna this teriyaki! My favorite in the greater Seattle area. The lady at the counter is so sweet & will remember you the next time you come in. The portions are huge. You’ll be full before you want to stop eating. My favorite is to take the chicken katsu & spicy chicken & then mix them. So good you’ll want to slap your mama! Plus 2 teriyaki orders gets you free gyoza to eat on your way home. Plus plus you’ll have your lunch for tomorrow.

The best tofu yakisoba in seattle in my opinion. Super clean and friendly mom and papas’ joint! Consistently good food.

We go here often because it’s somewhat close to home. The portions are perfect, as we like to share different dishes with each other and the kiddo. There’s even enough for lunch leftovers for the both of us. I absolutely love the spicy pork! It’s actually spicy and I like the way they slice the pork thinly. The chicken fried rice is pretty hearty and flavorful. We’ve had the Kalbi as well and it’s pretty tender. I appreciate that they also add salad in addition to your plate order. It’s refreshing after a few bites of the heavy dishes.

We ordered the BBQ burger and bacon cheese burger. Both were outstanding. The amount of meat seemed more than advertised ¹⁄₃ pound. The bun held everything together and did not disinagrate half way through. With burger we order a side of fries which turned out to be a large amount of fries that could easily be split between two people. Prices are reasonable and quality outstanding. Great service with a smile.

I will say, I am absolutely surprised of how great this place is! Having been disappointed by American — Chinese food in Seattle, this place served up what I was looking for. Outside of Chinese food this place also serves great burgers! As a heads up, this place is somewhat of a hole in the wall, they don’t have a lot of seating room, so keep in mind to order for take out. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great burgers and the spicey chicken teriyaki is yummo!

The food is packed with flavor and the portion of the meals feel like it should be for 2 and at a great price. Although the restaurant is small its a big competitor when it comes to Chinese food and burgers.

It’s a solid teriyaki place. Service is brusque abs polite. It’s a better ordering experience than the other teriyaki joint in the area (Westwood Village).
Price is affordable for the portions– order the chicken teriyaki– stay sway from the tough chewy kalbi.
Overall– won’t let you for simple eats–

I love this place. I tried to eat mushroom burger and spicy chicken teriyaki. I really really enjoyed all of them. It was So tasty and best quality and very reasonable price. But unfortunately, I have to drive for 40mins to go this restaurant. But it deserve it ! (*^.~*)
I wish this location is close by my house for eating whenever I want it !

I highly recommend this place! It is our go-​to for take out dinner in our neighborhood, and we’ve never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly, the menu is diverse, and the food is always delicious.
We’re thankful to have a great restaurant right around the corner.

I’ve eaten here several times. It’s close by my work. I recommend calling your order in and it’s usually done by the time you come pick it up. I’ve tried the white meat chicken combo & the spicy chicken combo. I prefer the white meat more. I wanted extra sauce and they charged for it. The chicken was kinda on the dry side and it was a bit overwhelming since they dumped a whole bunch of sauce on top. They give you a separate side salad with lemon dressing. The portions are pretty huge.

In the Seattle area for work and needed to grab some lunch. I was in the area and checked Unilocal to find a decent place. Pictures on here looked good and I don’t like eating typical fast food so I gave it a shot and was happy that I did.
Its a rather small place and seems to be family owned. Only has seating for maybe twenty tops. The lady that took my order was very nice and welcoming. The food came out rather quickly. I ordered the spicy chicken which comes with rice and salad and it was all very good. The sauce on the chicken was nice and thick and had just the right amount of spice. The salad and dressing it had was also surprisingly good. The food was just the right portion size and the price for the quality and quantity seemed justified. Not too many parking spaces in front of the restaurant available but I think most people get too go anyways. They have other items on their menu as well like burgers and typical Asian-​American type of dishes. It was very good and If I’m ever in the area again I would return.

This place is always very friendly. I MUCH prefer Wanna Teriyaki to Toshi’s. The portions are big and even. I went in one night and asked for double chicken and they gave it to me on the house because the cook «thought I was pretty».
That earns you a gold star in my book.
But seriously, good quality food and good portions. Do yourself a favor and come here.
