Great experience at the OSS clinic(Wallingford location) and with Dr Watt. I sought out an orthopedist for an ankle injury that wasn’t improving after 6 weeks. I found Dr Watt to be very pragmatic, kind, and understanding. I also find him to be a good listener and I didn’t feel like I had to quickly wedge in questions before he rushed out the door – something I’ve experienced with other doctors in the past. Full exam including X-rays and brace-fitting took exactly an hour. I don’t fell like I was ever kept waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. My appointment time was 9:30, and I was promptly seen by med assistant for vitals and questions, then had X-rays completed by 9:48. Dr Watt came in to see me before I could flip thru a few pages of People magazine.(I am in my car writing this Unilocal! At 10:31 am) Rest of staff is very friendly as well! I would recommended this doc and office to personal friends as well as the Unilocal!Community.

Wallingford office staff was excellent. Dr. Watt? AWFUL. He is by far the most condescending human being I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. He began the appointment by asking: «What does pain mean to you?». Seriously?! I unfortunately have way too much experience with knee issues, and Dr. Watt spoke to me as if I was two years old and had scraped my knee. I don’t even think he looked at my x-rays before sending me off without a solution. What a waste of time and money.

I have to have knee surgery. I don’t want to have knee surgery, but if I ever want to do anything more strenuous than walking again, I have to. And since I have to I’m glad Dr. Watt is going to do it. He’s gentle, patient and didn’t complain when I involuntarily kicked him during my exam. Hey, it HURTS when it bends that way. He answered all my questions thoroughly and my gut feeling about him and the whole process is good. Besides, just think of all the Unilocaling I can do while recuperating!
