For the food quality it is not worth 4 stars. But it is the one of the best spots if you just want to quickly grab lunch/dinner with a huge portion. The food comes really fast. Usually 5 minutes. Pretty impressive!

Worst teriyaki I have ever had. I haven’t tried anything else here, but that is what my one star is based on. Also the worst California rolls I’ve had. The teriyaki has no flavor and seems like it was just heated up in the microwave. Teriyaki sauce is as bad as when I try to home-make it(which is bad!!). The texture of the chicken is also not pleasant at all. The California rolls are very dense with way to much rice and mayonnaise in the filling. It tastes like I’m eating a Caesar salad in a rice roll. Such bad food, never would recommend to anyone.

A quick and affordable option near campus. I was in UW for an entire semester and never tried teriyaki. So my friend dragged me into yummy bites the other day for experience lol Anyway, I got grilled shrimp and she got stirfry chicken for something. I don’t like rice so I asked for all salad. It was filling and healthy. But it’s just food haha not enjoyment! Anyway, a bargain for students!

Serves Korean food, teriyaki and more. Haven’t been there for almost 5 years but when I used to go there, I usually get the beef bugogi.

Gotta say Yumny Bites did not disappoint. I ordered just a regular beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. And it was exactly what I wanted. The prices are great and the food has a great bang for the buck.

Very tasty food, whatever I ordered. Staff members are very helpful if you can’t decide what to order. This is a cafeteria style restaurant, where you have to bus your own table after the meal.

Judging by the reviews, it seems like your experience is very dependent on what dish you get. I guess I got lucky in that me and every one of my friends that has come here has all had amazing dishes. The szechuan tofu is the best tofu I’ve ever had(doesn’t say TOO much I suppose) but it sure impressed our vegetarian friends. The spicy chicken teriyaki beats the hell out of University Teriyaki’s. But come on, how could you NOT get the Chicken Katsu dish with optional $ 1 curry? Chicken katsu with curry is delicious! The potatoes are even done to perfection, and the katsu is the most chickeny bready katsu I’ve ever had.

I had a lunch today in here. I had no time because of the final. However, serving food was so fast. I have tried mostly teriyaki in here(beef is the best!!) but I tried Korean foods today with my friend. Soft tofu soup(with seafood) and beef and veggie soup were so amazing! XD

For $ 6, I filled up with a «small» chicken teriyaki. Unlimited ice water and sauce, free wifi and an open window-wall(on a sunny day) made this first-timer very willing to come back and try more dishes. Service was fast and friendly enough, and background radio was subtle. Modern furniture and cleanliness were appreciated.

Yummy Bites has a great selection of food. There is Korean, Japanese, and Chinese food. However all the food is pretty mediocre. It’s all yummy, just not great. Everyone working there is super friendly and we got our food very quickly. Overall, the place is clean and has a very fun atmosphere. It’s very causal and you have to bus your own table. I’d give Yummy Bites a solid 3 stars!

Yummy Bites is a quick and standard place to grab a bite on the Ave, maybe between classes. There is a pretty big selection of(heavily Americanized) Chinese, Korean, and Japanese dishes and everything I’ve tried has been good. My favorite items to order are the California roll and teriyaki chicken. When I’m too lazy to pack a lunch from home, Yummy Bites is my go-to place.

Use to eat here once or twice a week, for the past 2 years. but recently the staff has gotten lazy and the food does not taste anywhere like it use to. Also dishes are too dirty.

This is mine and my boyfriend’s go-to place frequently. Our favorite dishes are the tofu bibimbap and the honey sesame chicken. The portions are great and the cost is fairly average. The wait-time has been very reasonable! I often find myself craving the food from here. I can’t speak to the authenticity, but the dishes taste good!

Yummy Bites is one of those places that sells all kinds of Asian food, from Chinese to Japanese to Korean. I believe they’re Korean-owned, which explains why their Korean food is the better stuff on the menu. Their Chinese food and Japanese is pretty mediocre(overly salty chow mein, and sushi rice that falls apart) but their Korean food seems solid. Food seems to come out pretty quickly, but that may be because I’ve never seen it crowded before. Service is pretty minimal here, they bring you your food but you refill your own water or tea and bus your own table.

I love this place! It’s so cheap(which is great as a college student), and the food is pretty delicious. I always get the chicken teriyaki plate, which satisfies every time! The staff who work there are all very nice, and it’s just a chill place to eat. I come here all the time!

I was looking to get teriyaki to go and decided to try yummy bites. First thing I noticed was that this place was not cheap for take out food on the ave. Prices start at around $ 8. I decided on the two meat combo. Before ordering, I asked if getting two meats would still cost the base price of $ 7.50 and she agreed. I ordered the spicy chicken and the beef bulgogi. The cashier asked for my card before reading the price to me and it came out to $ 10.39! I’ve never paid that much for teriyaki in my life. I’m thinking, this better be good. The wait was average. But when I got to eating my food I was extremely disappointed. The spicy chicken was merely plain, overcooked chicken teriyaki doused in sriracha. The bulgogi portion was tiny. The salad that came with my meal was so small it barely covered the surface of the small box it came in and not fresh. I have yet to try their other Chinese and Korean dishes or dine in but I will not be ordering teriyaki to go from here anymore.

They always charge a little more tip than what you wrote on the merchant copy!!! Although it’s just several more dimes!!! Extremely dishonest!!!

Yummy Bites offers an undifferentiated hodgepodge of «Asian» food — ranging from(Japanese) teriyaki to(Korean) bibimbap. It’s hard to know exactly what they’re focused on, or what they do well. The food here is amazingly bland. I had stir-fried veggies with tofu and the rice was hard, the vegetables lifeless, and the sauce mildly salty but otherwise flavorless. You’re basically getting day-old salty rice, which you could make much cheaper at home. The prices are on-par with those on the rest of the Ave, but inappropriate given the poor quality of food. Yummy Bites disappoints.

This is a quick, affordable place for quick, yummy bites(as the name suggests) in University District. They offer basic rice/pan-fried noodles, terriyaki, sushi rolls, and basic korean dishes that you can make into different combo meals to feed your hungry stomachs. The prices are really reasonable at around $ 6 – 8 dollars and they are quite tasty. I got a shrimp katsu and gyoza combo meal while my friend got a salmon terriyaki and chicken terriyaki combo meal(the combo meals come with rice and salad). The quality is probably not as great as other high end restaurants(as the food prices are so low), but really, just to fill my stomach up and with some good taste, this is quite a good choice. My friend did have diarrhea after eating at this place but I was fine. so I wasn’t quite sure if it was because the food there. I don’t mind going back there to eat again. The salmon terriyaki was actually quite tasty.
