I am really happy to discover Dr. Erskin. I find him to be very thorough, present, light hearted and attuned to working with my body. I had a car accident a month ago and came to Dr. Erskin because I was concerned about the concussion symptoms I was experiencing as well as muscular strain/sprain flare-ups. I have had a lot of other types of bodywork and chiropractic over the years so I am very particular and discerning about the quality of work I receive. I can highly recommend Dr. Erskin– he really hones in on the exact areas that need attention and very adeptly allows the body to respond and let go of tension. After two treatments, my brain is feeling more online. He also recommended specific supplements that would help with my recovery that other practitioners didn’t consider. I look forward to continued progress in his care.

I’m in search of a new doctor and found this guy and his staff. I’m sure he is a fine doctor, but the in-take staff needs a little training in sensitivity and patient confidentiality. First – there are so many rules that govern this in-take person. –Off on Wednesdays, –closed between 12 and 2. –slow to respond to emails. After finally getting ahold of them on the phone more rules: –they are«technically» taking new patients but there are some restrictions –am I under Covered California because they don’t accept that insurance(even though Covered California is an insurance exchange, not an insurance plan). I have a PPO which seemed to change the conversation significantly. Seems like money is the factor here instead of healing. –next she wanted to know the specifics about my visit. I’d like to discuss that with the doctor, not the in-take person. That is what in-take forms are for. After pressing me, I just decided to pass. I just need a doctor, not the 3rd degree by some secretary. By the way, your rejection of Covered California is disgusting. Hippocratic oath anyone? Won’t be spending my money or my insurance here. Ever.

I’m currently seeing Dr. Erskine for injuries that resulted from a fall, and the treatments have been a huge help in relieving pain and stress. I’ve previously seen him over the years for various health issues and found him to be exceptionally knowledgeable and intuitive. It’s been very frustrating to have to deal with some of the more traditional medical offices where I’m treated like a lump on an assembly line, so the kind of warm and personal, caring approach of Dr. Erskine’s office is much appreciated.

I have been seeing Dr. Erskine on and off for over a decade for a wide variety of issues. Not only has he been a major positive influence in my life, saving me from injuring myself and helping on the occasion when I do pull out my back and assorted muscle groups, but he’s been a savior for my family as well. When my young son was only 2 or 3, I remember him having a weird viral infection/fever; we took him to Dr. Erskine and a catch-phrase in our home for many months after was, «Yusuf-Quddus made me feel better»(imagine in a tiny child voice). For myself, in addition to acute needs, I’ve gone for«maintenance» and, I’m sure, saved myself much time, effort, and money preventing serious health challenges, by staying in balance. I can’t speak highly enough for the man’s skills, as well as human compassion and willingness to go above and beyond. A 10-star review!

Dr. Erskine is a miracle worker. I had a really sore shoulder for years and it kept getting worse. I hurt it exercising and the pain would travel from my shoulder, over my collar bone and up my neck. I was taking advil most morning sto help dull the pain, until a friend told me about Dr. Erskine. I honestly did not know what an Osteopathic doctor was, and now that I know, I am so grateful to friend turned me on to him. After three appointments, my shoulder did not hurt anymore and it stayed that way? That was about 2 years ago. Now, I go see him once a month for preventative maintenance. I have some issues with my ribs popping out of place and a weak lower back, so Dr. Erskine works his magic and puts me back in alignment. It seems like he works on intuition because he can find the exact source of the pain and it might be something you would have never figured out for yourself. If you want to feel better without prescription drugs or surgery, please go try Dr. Erskine first. You will be so happy you did!
