I first started Seb. Adv. Bootcamp in April 2013. I was mid-40’s, 3 kids, running a small business, taking care of family & ranch animals, volunteering at kids schools. I had very little time for myself. I belonged to a gym that I’d spent 3 days at over the past year but hundreds of $$ in membership fee’s. I was feeling ‘TIRED of being tired and where the heck did this cellulite come from?!!’. In my 20’s I was athletic, 30’s I was chasing kids…40’s hit and suddenly my body and energy CHANGED! I had many reservations about joining a camp… would I be able to fit in(I’m shy/quiet), keep up, DO the program? Would I STICK with it?! Fast forward 15 months… Not only am I still in the program, I purchased one of the memberships and faithfully try and go 4 – 5 mornings a week. I absolutely love it. What keeps me coming back other than Amie’s fantastic workouts is the camaraderie. I just did not have that in the gym. I’ve made good friends who I look forward to seeing each morning. I’ve done both the 5:15&9am workouts. Amie’s program is ever changing. Each day is different and she incorporates a variety of different workout equipment… kettle bells, ropes, sandbags, hand weights, bodyweight movements, etc. It’s never boring. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about different fitness modalities and takes each camper’s physical abilities or limitations into account when planning workouts. I’m also an RN so seeing Amie work with campers who needed modifications was a bonus. I started out as a beginner in camp and never felt like I couldn’t keep up because the format is such that everyone goes at their own pace at different levels of intensity. Other campers were very encouraging. this kept me coming early on! After 15 months I’ve gone from someone with not very good coordination or any core muscle to recently completing the Spartan Monterey Beast with another camper. That beast was 13+ miles, 30 obstacles with an elevation change of 3600 feet over rough terrain. I’ve signed up for 3 more future races. Once you’ve joined. consistency is key. Amie makes it very easy with motivational emails & texts and gives great nutritional instruction with samples to class. I so enjoy seeing new campers each month and I’m excited for them and the changes they are about to see in THEIR bodies. If your reading this odds are your looking for a change. Don’t hesitate… but beware…15 months from now YOU might be that BEAST climbing mountains!

I’ve attended several months of the early morning camp(5:15−6:15) and the later one(9 – 10), no excuses, one session or the other will fit your schedule! I gave this 5 stars because I really love the ladies who attend, the trainer, and not to mention, the results. It’s a lively and within limits, challenging workout. You’ll sweat. The program is easy to stick with due to the support and camaraderie. The routine never gets boring, is constantly changing, unique and invigorating. Amie does an excellent job of making if fun n’ fresh. Your jeans,(yourself) and husband/boyfriend/partner will certainly notice! I highly recommend Adventure Boot Camp. Give it a shot; you will be glad you did.
