Great Wall Restaurant

The food is wonderful. Even more wonderful is that my hospitalized daughter wanted one thing, egg drop soup. It wasn’t on the menu. But when my mom told the woman why we needed the soup, she went and made it for her. My daughter loved it and says it was delicious. Thank You.

This place is pretty freaking amazing ! Got the general tso and the firecracker dishes. I asked for tofu instead and it was kind of hard I guess for them to understand I didn’t want chicken but tofu instead — never the less they did give me the tofu. Man it was amazing the firecracker was spicy and the bamboo in it was soo good and my husband loved the jalapeño that came with it. General tso was more on the sweet side but it was still very delicious. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

Excellent food, I love crunchy chicken! Please, make a website where we can order online! My anxiety keeps me from calling but I want food lol.

Great service great food. The best way to judge Asian food is the left overs this place hits the mark. I have enjoyed Great Wall for many years it’s an excellent family establishment

Moved here from Washington D.C. about 2 years ago. I finally decided to try this place out. I was impressed! Excellent food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone. I just wish they were open on Saturdays but I wont hold that against them :)

This is Sequin’s third Chinese restaurant; there’s the Grand Buffet (4 stars), and Dragon Place, also 4 stars. I decided to finish my Seguin eggroll crawl by coming here. What a mistake!
This small place is in the same strip mall as the Grand Buffet, but unlike the dragons and mahogany accompaniments of the Grand, this place just has tables, bare walls, and dare I say, plastic plants.
The server and owner was nice, but what about the food? Again, my order came in about 2 minutes. I’ve been having a problem lately with places holding lunch specials or rewarming items like the rice.
I ordered chicken with black bean sauce, which comes with eggroll and fried or steamed rice.
Eats:
— chicken: both white and dark meat combined and sauteed well
— sauce: thick brown, too sweet, bland but spicy because of the hot peppers
— large pieces of bell pepper and plenty of quartered onions fried well. I liked.
— egg roll: super small, no filling, and mushy.
— rice: small, almost like medium grain, flavorless, and nothing in it including vegetables
Crumbs:
— lunch buffet is $ 6.99, although website says $ 5.99.
— they have about 18 choices for lunch buffet.
— happy hour is from 3−7pm, where you get the same choices, but soup and a crabmeat rangoon is included for $ 7.99-$ 8.99.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. I always get the same Early Bird Special — Mongonlian beef, egg drop soup, and crab meat rangoons, and it is always superb. The woman who owns the place remembers me when I come in and is always very nice. I will miss this place when I move in a few months!

The food is very bland. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. Not spicy in the least, Very bland.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Seguin, TX. We have tried the Dragon Place and the Buffet and both of these others doesn’t even compare to how delicious the food is at the Great Wall. My husband and I are not from here, and we have lived in many other places with good Asian food and this is the best Chinese around in comparison to what this area would consider good Chinese food. We love it and eat there about twice a month. Now also, I’m currently pregnant, and they even made me a low sodium, low calorie meal. Nicest owners and great service.

For my money this is the best place for Chinese food in Seguin, they have excellent crab rangoon, they also have very tasty fried rice & lo mein noodles. It tastes very authentic and is full of rich flavors. You could easily spend less than $ 15 here and feed two people, a great bargain for good flavor. They have wonderful customer service too and always have my meal ready in just about 10 minutes, it’s hot and ready to go after I’ve ran some errands in the shopping center it’s located at. There is also a video store nearby so you can do dinner and a movie should you be in the mood.
