I made reservations on July 11^th to board my two dogs for the weekend of July 31^st. I arrived that morning at 9am to drop them off on our way out of town only to find a note saying they had closed early and would return at 5pm. No answer to any phone calls. Just voice mail. Not knowing what else to do I was able to make emergency arrangements with our vet to board the dogs, but they had to be crated instead of being in an open run. I was told when the owner returned my call late that afternoon that no one had written down my reservation and they had an emergency. While being sorry for the emergency, we still had the problem of being delayed over almost two hours, and the panic of what to do with our furbabies. Thank goodness we weren’t trying to make a flight. Please, Talawanda, write down your reservations. If you had called me that morning I could have had someone bring the dogs over that afternoon, or I could have brought the dogs over immediately that morning.
