Meh; the breakfast sammies at dunkin donuts were better, and they’re not that great. Can’t remember what I even ordered… so yep, forgettable. My wife was unimpressed w/the lox.

Went here for breakfast on New Year’s Day. The drive through was packed but it was not super busy inside. I ordered an everything bagel and an asiago cheese bagel with honey almond schmear. The bagels were toasted perfectly and there was an adequate amount of schmear on both bagels. The bagel was $ 2.75 toasted with schmear. My other half ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel and blueberry bagel with regular cream cheese. We ordered quickly and received our food within a couple minutes. The location was clean and the employees were friendly. The bagels were soft and heavenly. I would definitely eat here again.

The down hill slide for this place just continues. What happened this year? Slow service is one thing, but the place is no longer even clean. And the past two trips they’ve messed up the order of 3 bagels and a water. There was a chair in front of the drive through. No explanations. I’m assuming it was close. I guess this is it for me and I won’t be going back. To bad because it’s a very convenient locations and I use to enjoy going here.

Slowest service ever. And it has always been this way. Someone please change the management at this place. New process needed asap!

I worked at this location for 3 months during the summer, so hopefully that holds some sway. Mostly every lunch break I got(which was more like a brunch break), I ordered a bagel with a shmear because the employee discount was so good. It’s safe to say that I have a lot of experience with the food here! First, let’s talk about customer service. I see a lot of poor ratings due to lack of concern for customers. I agree with many of them — a lot of the workers are seasonal or doing the job as a means to get a little more money. Not because they love bagels. Add the fact that half of them started work at 5:30 a.m., and yeah I don’t think they’ll be happy to see 20 impatient upper-class soccer moms getting food for their troops of screaming kids. Next, we’ve got food quality. Yes, mostly everything comes frozen, and we proof and bake it in the mornings. No, we do not use real eggs EVER. The spinach, mushroom, and asparagus are packaged and soaked in butter. The orange juice is NOT«fresh», it’s from a jug of Minute Maid concentrate. However, the coffee, milk, cream cheeses, bananas, cucumbers, and lemons are all freshly purchased. You will never get a stale or expired item here! There are far too many customers for something to not get used by its expiration date. With that being said, I found that each time I received whatever I decided I wanted that day, it was warm, toasted, and the flavors were spot on(with the exception of the egg sandwiches… just go to Wawa). I didn’t get tired of bagels. Do you realize how remarkable that is? I worked about 35 hours a week for three months and ate a bagel every time I got a break, and I hadn’t had enough by the time I went back to school. Bagels are good. My all-time favorite combo was a pretzel bagel toasted with butter. Mmmm. Peak hours are starting from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., so if you can’t stand a long wait, do not come during those times. Many of the regulars are used to the service and time it takes. In reality, we estimate that for an average order, it will take us four minutes to prepare the item and complete the transaction for it. Therefore, if you pull up to the drive-thru with four other cars ahead of you, and some of those cars may have ordered five different drinks, you could be waiting 20 minutes for your food. Many people don’t realize that bagels don’t magically become crunchy and warm… they have to be toasted. Toasting the bagels alone takes about 30 seconds. Please consider the fact that Einstein’s has a longer estimated period of time for each order that gets put through, and that maybe you aren’t considering the establishment for what it really is — sort of fast-food breakfast. Pro-tip from a former employee: ONLYDOTHISIFIT’S SLOW! Otherwise you will get angry glares. Technically, you can get half and half of the same priced items(like cream cheese and peanut butter) for an equal price, but ask for one or the other on the side, then order a veggie on the side for free. My favorite frugal meal was a pretzel bagel, half butter on the bagel, half salmon cream cheese on the side, with cucumbers on the side. Eat the bagel, eat the cucumbers dipped in cream cheese. Yum!

Okay, this review is long overdue. I have been here more than multiple times so I’m not going to abide by my «3 check in» rule. This place BLOWS. The staff is either rude or stupid(hate to say it) or a combination of both. And if they are irritated they don’t fail to make you aware by their attitude/their facial expression. And I KNOW for a fact some of the staff is under the influence of something on occasion. And, if they arent, they were the night before… So today was the first time I had been to this particular location in quite some time due to my absolute distaste of the place. But, I am stubborn and I wanted a bagel. So, once again I had to endure the beyond ridiculous ordering process of ordering at one register and paying at another.(I know that sounds bratty. but seriously, whats the point?!) Once done that whole process, I waited… and waited, and waited, like always… They had messed up another customers order so… I waited some more. I am not phased by this because this situation is often a common occurrence. In the end, by the time I actually received my order my boyfriend who was waiting in the car came in very frustrated to see why it was taking so long.(He assumed I had decided to eat my food inside.) But, of course that wasn’t the case. It was merely the fact that this location is as dysfunctional as it is displeasing. I really don’t want to even delve into how pointless their drive-through situation is. Basically, they dont list anything they currently have on it so you’re left clueless as to what to order… But the person on the other end can’t ever hear you. AND they usually have the person that seems to be under the influence working that particular station. Ugh I hate complaining. More than anything. But I am so over this location.

Let me start by saying I love Einstein’s bagels, especially the ones closer to where they originated but this one is a far cry from those establishments. The service is extremely slow, the coffee is blah, and the bagels are just ok. This time I got a pumpkin spice latte and it was terrible. I’m not sure how you mess up pumpkin but they did. I got an everything bagel w/butter. The employee tossed the bag in my direction and yells my name while walking away, I thank her and retrieve my butter covered bag. Once I get in the car I open the bag and the way the bagel is cut is comical. The top of the bagel was about an inch and the bottom was a slanting 1⁄8 of an inch. I attached a pic for reference if you want a little chuckle. Moral of this story is go to Starbucks up the block.

I should start this review by saying I love bagel sandwiches(especially egg sandwiches). Sometimes there is nothing better than some bacon, eggs and cheese on a fresh baked bagel. You can definitely get an egg sandwich at this place, but you likely won’t be impressed by their offering. The bagels don’t taste or seem fresh and their selection of cheeses is not broad in any sense of the word. Given that this particular location is relatively close to an Atlanta Bread Company, you might be better off going to that establishment. On the positive side, I was impressed by the speed with which the employees were able to fill our order. Such speed is really only possible with pre-made ingredients which I guess might explain the quality. As others have mentioned(Joe K. for example), the prices are certainly higher than I’d expect to pay for their offerings.

This place was awful. They lost our order so after waiting 15mins we ask, they make our food in 1 min and a six year old could have done better. I paid for bacon and got one piece, the bagel was all smushed together. Everything was just microwaved, I couldn’t even eat it. At least I can eat McDonald’s would never go back there. Save your $$$.

Was just here this morning for breakfast and it was utter chaos! I have been here a couple times before and it seems like the entire staff is always very confused and disorganized. It took 20 minutes for me to get my food and all I ordered was a bagel sandwich. Now I don’t know if this is just how they make it, but I ordered an egg white and turkey sausage bagel and they put cream cheese on it… weird. Not worth the wait or money!

A long time ago I remember coming here as a child and watching them as they made their bagels from scratch; almost 15 years later I finally tried their bagels. It’s very very very pricy for any of their sandwiches they offer. For pre made egg whites, and heat to order mushroom and asparagus with cheese the flavors were ok, but you can tell that the food was out of a plastic bag and toasted. Over all the bagel offerings are pretty standard and slightly better than the Atlantic bread /Panera bread bagels in the area. But the quality of the bagels are by far standard and not worth the time. Their coffee options are limited and their machine is the star player when it comes to the espresso drinks, just hope the worker presses the right buttons for your concoction to be made. There is no small option for coffee, plus their medium size is $ 2 and likely isn’t as the name implies, darn good coffee. They offer a drive thru but it was terribly slow. I wouldn’t recommend a visit here unless you’re pressed for time, or just wanna see if the place is really that bad, just be forewarned — it isn’t worth the time; 2 stars.

AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!! GROSS!!! I ordered an egg and cheese bagel from here last weekend to go. When I opened it up the egg looked like and felt like play-do. Clearly they microwave their eggs here(which a lot of places do and they make it work). Here they microwaved the egg about six times longer than necessary. What shocked me was the person who made this had no problem sending it out. I have yet to receive a response to the complaint email I sent as well. Just keep driving down Rt. 2 and go to Naval bagel.

This is an intelligent bagel! The fact is Einstein is top of the class because it got brains. It is way better than Naval bagels of Maryland and for that reason, it’s worth the price! SURPRISE, I’m not a bagel eater, but Einstein made me think that bagels are not at all hard as a rock, but soft and beautiful outside. Einstein Bros make it totally right; it’s pack with ingredients you wish for — blueberries, raisins, cinnamon, nuts, etc… slice the bagels in half and discover what you are looking for are not only outside but inside the dough. Einstein’s bagels are so perfect that I can’t believe that I would like bagels this much. Bagels for me are just so of my liking but Einstein’s bagels make me crazy for other pastries too such as their muffin which is also fantastic and the cream cheese are deliciously fluffy goodness, velvety flavor variety that you can spread into the fresh bagels. Wow, they are really awesome. Einstein does not deserve a grade of 1 star from previous posts. They definitely need to re-think it! It is just smart way to do.

I ate here on a weekend morning and the food and service were pretty good for a bagel place on a Sunday morning. However, a few days later, I called them to see if they have free wifi — they said they did. I showed up, ordered a bagel sandwich, soda, and chips, along with 2 cookies — total around $ 12. Paid to learn they only had Jalapeño chips or baked lays(Yuck on both). I then sat down to discover their WiFi was out — When I tried to help the Manager understand that her router was out, she gave me a look like«Who cares — I am only here so I can get out of my parents basement». The issue is that this is not a bagel place — it is a processing plant for pre-made bagels. When you add it the craptastic service, it makes we want to walk over to the Giant Supermarket across the street, bu some thomas’ bagels and go home to toast them.

I honestly don’t know why we keep going here. Probably because its about the only place left to get a bagel and my wife loves the breakfast sandwiches. She has never had a good Bagel though so I guess I can’t fault her. The biggest problem with this place is how slow they are. They are painfully slow. I have been trapped int here drive through line for more then 25min on occasion. It is almost always faster to go inside but even then you just don’t know. I have also stood inside waiting for my order having already paid and watched at least four different employees wander through doing next to nothing. If you get an urge to have a Bagel and Lox… Drive to new york or something. Often t h Salmon has been sitting out for a while and is likely to give you food poisoning. The Bagels themselves are OK, nothing special. At least their not as bad as the guys who took over Chesapeake bagel bakery some years ago. That was frightening…

Seriously attrocious, but the place is packed. WTF? I wanted to like this place. I really did. I figured, «if we can get good bagels in SF, then a city only a few hours from New York must make GREAT ones…» I tried it several times, each hoping the last was a fluke. Well, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 5 times, I’m slow to learn and too hopeful for my own good. The bagels are mushy, uninspired, flavorless, crustless, insipid, etc etc etc. Maybe just the styles I tried, but I tried all I could… although that wasn’t all the options theoretically available… seriously, guys, how hard is it to keep a basket from going empty? Maybe I missed something. Doubt it though. Worse, the service is routinely rude/confused/inept/bad(yes, bad even for a fast-food place… I mean, even the [Hardees /KFC /Taco Bell] people are more polite and show more effort) and it is not helped by the horrible structure of the order/pay/receive line. Horrid, false/forced organization that only serves to confuse, take more time than necessary, etc. Somebody, anybody involved with this place — worst case, take a trip out to a Noah’s in SF(though I am sure there is somewhere MUCH better much closer) and see how it _truly_high-volume bagel breakfast service should done. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve thought, «you know what? Screw it — by the time I get home, I should have just gone up north to Greg’s…» And that’s 30+ minutes away. Seriously, why this place has any line at all, let alone the choas and ~10+ minutes I’ve dealt with on each visit is truly beyond me. The bagels are really very subpar and overpriced. Then again, maybe it’s all just people on their first or second trip… that’s the only thought that gives me hope for the world. Better options exist — heck, going into a grocery store and buying a bag of frozen bagels to warm at home is a better option. Maybe I’ll open a bagel place across the street… seems to be a demand for a decent one…

The bagels are only good here when fresh. But if you can get a fresh, still warm, chocolate chip bagel? You’ll die it’s so good.
