I’ve been here a few times for breakfast. I like the atmosphere but wish the food was better. They seem to have a loyal following of customers that they know by name.

Very busy diner. When I stopped in(by myself– driving home from a quick trip to Kentucky), there was a bit of a wait for larger parties, but I just sat at the counter. A lot of people there which is a good sign. Waitresses were very friendly and very busy, efficient and hard-working. Also very clean diner which I appreciate. Food was very good– standard breakfast fare done very well. Potatoes were outstanding, and portions were generous. I’m not often in Seymour, but I would definitely try & visit again when I’m passing through.

Too disappointing. Salisbury steak smothered with canned? Brown gravy. It was not even slightly tasty. Homemade pie. Tough crust. Wouldnt go back for anything I ate. I wanted to like this place. Don’t go out of your way for this

Few places like this in the world anymore. Great home style cooking and treat EVERYONE like family. Homemade pies to die for and super affordable.

Food was only average. Fish was ok, French fries undercooked. Homemade pie very disappointing. Only one restroom and someone in there twenty minutes.

What a great find! Friendly, down home feel. Huge and delicious tenderloin, fish was amazing and the homemade cole Slaw was creamy and wonderful. All pies are homemade on site daily and the Butterscotch pie was to die for.

The food is very filling and tastes great. The service is wonderful, they talk to you like you are part of their family. I found a new spot for lunch.

A Seymour tradition since 1962. They have to be doing something right. Great home cooked food like moms. Stop on by

Best Beef Manhattan that I have ever eaten. Server appeared happy to substitute rye for the standard white bread base. When served, i couldnt believe the generous portion. My $ 5 lunch special had tender shredded beef, delicious mashed potatoes and yummy gravy. I chose green beans as my side. I now understand why the café was filled with happy customers. I can’t wait to return.

Stopped for lunch while passing through town. Best pork tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had — it was the size of a dinner plate, yet I managed to still finish it all(with pleasure). Well worth a visit…

Heading towards KY this morning. Wanted something different. Read reviews and they did not give enough credit. Down Home dinner. Folks new each others names and I was the new guy but felt like family. I had and omelet and toast with coffee. Just perfect. And priced extremely reasonable. Worth the extra couple miles from the interstate.

Really enjoyed coming here with coworkers while traveling for work. Situated nearby to downtown Seymour, this place has a great small town vibe. Recommend the tenderloin sandwich. Battered in a corn flake-ish coating and fried to perfection. I think you’ll like it too!

We used to go here from time to time when we were living in Seymour and it was quite good. We generally went for breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes. While I never had the meatloaf my neighbor loved it and had it quite often. If I were ever in the area again I would certainly have breakfast at Town House.

This is a quaint, down home restaurant. The staff is friendly, without being overbearing. The food is consistent week after week, which is very good. We go there every Sunday morning and we try to get there before the church crowd because otherwise you will be left standing. The prices are very reasonable. The décor isn’t much, but it’s down home. Some John Mellencamp photos are up which is fine, the whole town is very proud of their son. Most businesses have a photo or two of John M. up on the wall. We are very comfortable going here every week. Nothing fancy or earthshattering, just good food, friendly staff and you might even run into someone you know. Since we are new here, that was fun.
