Every year they do pancake weekends during maple season. Good food. Great opportunity to taste local goods. They also do tours around the area. Great chance to learn about the maple making process.

Stone House Farm, is a small, family run, maple syrup and dairy farm. They make a few different maple products. We had their maple syrup, and their maple candy. Both delicious. You can order their maple syrup on their website. On the weekends, February thru April, they open up the sap house – where the sap is turned into syrup – and serve an all you can eat breakfast. All you can eat, pancakes, waffles, sausage, and drinks included. Served of course with their maple syrup. They were charging just $ 6 for it. Only $ 3 for kids. It’s one heck of a deal. They also had a horse drawn cart that takes you for a short trip to see the trees with the taps and tubing that funnel the sap back to the sap house, and that’s free. A trip to Stone House Farm is a fun diversion, well worth the drive out to Sharon Springs.
