Palo Popcorn brand Premium Cheddar Cheese popcorn, 3 oz. bag purchased from a Madison, WI Menards store — a very pleasant surprise. I’d never heard of this Wisconsin company before, but this is the best commercial popcorn I’ve ever eaten, far superior to Smartfood by Frito Lay (which is also really good) & hands-​down better than the dreadful Indiana brand. Granted, this review is only for 2 bags that I’ve tried, but each popcorn piece was surprisingly very crispy considering the heavy coating of quite flavorful, slightly tangy yellow-​orange cheese. Amazingly there was not a single hard piece/​«old maid» in either bag, & there were hardly any tiny broken-​off popcorn pieces left at the bottom of the bag– almost the entire bag was fully popped large kernels (it’s almost like the heavy cheese coating holds them together). If you run across this brand (check their website for where to buy), definitely buy a bag if you are a popcorn fan.
