So I guess you have to be 21 just to eat here? A friend and I came to get something to eat at 6:30 and were turned away because we’re 20 and 18. We drove a bit further to Dickeys which was a much better choice. Rude service may be the reason there was hardly anyone there?

We had an early dinner there today and overall it was quite good. The beers were well made and the food was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and while the fries were pretty basic, they weren’t what I would term plentiful, but enough nonetheless. The sandwich was as good a pulled pork sandwich as I’ve had in Wisconsin, loaded with meat and very juicy, a 3 napkin affair. I also had the French onion soup which I liked as well. Not the best I’ve ever had but still above average. My better half had the build your own burger which she said was good. She thought it was slightly undercooked but at least it wasn’t hard and dry. The only complaint I would have about it was that it was only a third pounder. Why don’t burger joints around here do a half pound burger so it seems like a substantial burger instead of a skimpy party? Also, raw onions are included with the burger for free but they upcharge for sauteed onions. Huh? Finally, my only major complaint about the meal was that we arrived during happy hour and our server, a very pleasant fellow otherwise, told us that happy hour was 2 house beers for $ 6 with the regular price being $ 4 each. I ordered 2 beers, each a different style, 1 for each of us. Then, after he delivered them, he informed us that we couldn’t split them and that if we were each going to drink beer and we wanted to get the happy hour price, we would then each need to order our own 2 beers. WTF!!! Management’s rules he said and then went on to try to explain about it being 3 separate businesses under one roof, as if we really cared about that. We didn’t get 3 different bills for the meal. It left a bad taste in our mouths about the place that cast a pall over the whole meal. Who the hell is management to tell me that I can’t share some of my beverage with someone else? We let them know when we paid our bill that it was a stupid policy and it left us disappointed from what otherwise would have been an enjoyable experience. If not for that, I’d have probably otherwise given them 4 or 5 stars.

Descriptive phrase: heaping amounts of pub grub. We came to Sheboygan to visit 3 Sheeps Brewing, but found their current operation located inside Hops Haven Bar. Though an odd setup, the bar featured The Wicked Grille food, and we decided to stay for dinner. The BBQ Chicken Salad($ 9) was huge. HUGE. I think I got through half of it myself. Plenty of grilled chicken, hardboiled egg, and BBQ sauce. If someone would split it with me, I’d definitely order it again. I also got to try The Triple B burger($ 10) and tots. The bleu cheese and bacon onion jam went well together on top of the seasoned patty. The tots were unique, and a bit too deep-fried. Overall, a solid burger.

This was our first visit to Wicked Grille but it won’t be our last. Oustanding food, awesome selection and fantastic service. The tator tots are to die for. Relaxed atmosphere and great ambience. This is an asset to Sheboygan for casual dining.

The best thing about this dining experience was the atmosphere. It was not too loud, there were tvs tuned to current sporting events, and the dining area was roomy. That being said, there was no visible sign outside that identified it as ‘The Wicked Grille’ until we were right up on it, and when you stepped inside there was no hostess to seat you, which is fine, but we waited for ten minutes for a waitress to come and take our order. The lack of signage may account for the fact that on a Friday evening around seven, it was bordering on empty. I know that Hops Haven has been much busier in the evening on the previous occasions we had been there before the grille opened. We ordered the fried pickle appetizer and they were a little oily. For our entrees, we ordered the wicked burger — medium with onion rings and the Chicago dog with fries. The onion rings were very good as was the Chicago dog. The burger was cooked well done and the fries were a little undercooked and soggy. We both had the 3 Sheeps beer, which is brewed in house. The seasonal coffee stout was excellent as was the water slide. I think the menu is good, and while the service was very slow– it was very friendly.

Definitely check this place out. We came for the food although they have a full bar. Seating is towards the back by some pool tables and a couple TVs. Noise level wasn’t too bad. We got the white cheddar cheese curds to start with, and they were gooood. The boyfriend got the All American double cheeseburger and fries, I thought the fries were actually better than most I’ve had. I got the Wicked burger– fried egg and pepper jack but I got it without jalapeños, and onion rings. Those onion rings are the best I’ve had in a long time. Both our burgers were amazing. They come on Sheboygan hard rolls, cooked medium rare, dripping with the good stuff. Glorious! Next time I’m trying the deep fried reuben sticks, sounds very interesting. Service was a little slow but friendly. We will be back.

definitely would recommend this grill. excellent and friendly service. i had the triple b burger. that bacon onion jam is great. i would put that on any burger, or sandwich for that matter. never had cheese curds before, they were pretty good also. and the owner treated us to those cookie dough balls fried in the funnel cake batter. they live up to the Wicked name. oh yeah, can’t forget about the 3 Sheeps beer. i tried a sampler and they were all very smooth. overall a great place. look forward to returning on our next road trip to Sheboygan.

Wonderful food and great people in the kitchen. We are working our way through the menu and haven’t had anything yet that I wouldn’t have again. The soups are killer and you have to try the onion bacon jam.

I had the«triple b burger» which was really well done, the bacon onion jam was killer. The burger was juicy, the bun was fresh and the Blue Cheese was not overpowering. Fries were not very good, little bit on the larger side, mushy, & lack of flavor. Service was very friendly, and I will definitely going back to try another one of their burgers!
