Tacos… such a simple food… and apparently very easy to screw up. I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in my life and in many different places around the world. Ponte tacos are easily the worst I have ever had. Tacos should be full of bold flavors and fresh ingredients. These tacos were so incredibly bland that it should be a criminal offense. Let’s start with the backbone of the taco… the tortilla. I was happy to see they use soft corn tortillas but they essentially serve them to you raw. A little toasting or a minute on the grill sure would go a long way but alas… soft, soggy, lame tortillas. Now let’s talk about the filling. I ordered a pulled pork taco… because I love the pig… and I’m also a carnita junkie. I have one word for Ponte… SALT…please use some!!! Its so easy to make a succulent, flavorful pork filling for tacos and these just fell way short. The shredded cabbage slaw that topped the taco was weak as well. It should have some crunch and a slight vinegar bite… to let you know its there. Again Ponte dropped the ball in the seasoning department. The tacos looked fantastic and had all the right parts in the right places but they tasted like they were prepared by a high school home-ec class. If you love tacos with big bold flavors just avoid this place because its a total let down. No contrast in flavors or textures and no seasoning at all. Each bite was like taking a sip of water. I’m giving one star but only because the salsa that came with our chips was really good and the counter help was very nice and polite.

Huge disappointment. For such a small place that only does tacos, they sure do fall short. We got 3 tacos: ground beef, pulled pork, and chicken. As soon as the food was in front of me, I picked up the chicken taco. The bottom of the shell was wet, and immediately fell apart. After one bite, I stopped. Gross, wet taco, with no flavor. Next I took a bite of the ground beef. It tasted exactly the same as the chicken. This shell was also wet, and fell apart. My boyfriend ate the pulled pork one, and also tasted the other 2. Gross. The shells weren’t even crispy. It was like eating a raw corn tortillia. I also got a «watermelon fizzy». It was basically some smashed watermelon in water, with some ice. No flavor, no fizz. Don’t even waste your time with this place. You will leave hungry and disappointed.

It was good but not great. I had the black bean taco and the mashed potato taco. Decent vegetarian options but just ok. Service is kinda cold. Don’t expect much dialogue or recommendations from the cashier.

Ripoff alert. Just paid $ 6 for the tiniest fish taco I’ve ever seen. Five very small pieces of fish and some cilantro in a small tortilla. Ridiculous.

Best tacos I’ve had in a long time. My girlfriend really liked their in-house ginger fizz beverage. I thought the use of space was great, and the art reflected this. Try their brownie and macaroons. YUMMY!

Tiny Mexican restaurant with a limited menu of food that they do very well. The tacos here were so good that we got dinner here two nights in a row when passing through the area. The beef taco with their homemade tomatillo salsa was my favorite. The meat pie is also excellent. Great pastry as well.

I had a papa taco, people were nice and vibes were good. Didn’t love the taco but the price was fair and I’d go back to try the cubano!

The food here is great! I had 4 chicken tacos and my co-workers had pork tacos and a Cuban sandwich. We loved everything(although my friend wanted more salt on his tacos). The menu is very small and you can tell the owners are still getting settled. The only down side is the space is tiny and there is no bathroom(!!!). I would say it could comfortably hold about 9 or ten people. Otherwise it was great and I hope they stick around.
