I had a breast augmentation April 14^th, and I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Mok and his wonderful friendly staff! Tuesday night after getting surgery that morning, Dr. Mok called me personally to see how I was feeling. I truly loved my experience at Allure Medical Spa and would recommend Dr. Mok to anyone! I am very happy so far with my results! I even went back to work by Saturday.

My friend and I attended an invitation only ELITE Unilocal
open house at the Alure Spa tonight. We were served Hors d’oeuvres of wild mushrooms and chicken fricassee wrapped in puff pastry, sooo tasty. Then along came a platter piled high with wonderful fresh fruit, embellished with a strawberry cream cheese dip, absoultely delectable ! Provided for us was a variety of wines along with a plethora of cheese and crackers as an appetizer. We toured the facility and were introduced to many of the procedures the Alure medical staff provides. It was an education on maintenance of our skin to say the least. We received many discounts for future services and a goody bag to take home. What a fun and interesting evening and the staff were wonderful especially Angel who was our guide. Thanks Alure and a thumbs up to The Unilocal team.

Dr. Mok is a true professional. I had a breast augmentation with him (as well as botox) and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his office. I had such a great experience that I stayed with him for botox and I am considering a laser procedure as well. I’m a perfectionist and like things to be done well. I had and have high expectations and Dr. Mok met all of those expectations. In fact, he exceeded them. I would also like to mention Maria from the front desk-​Jamie (PA) and Melissa, whom I also believe is a PA. Every single person I interacted with at this office exhibited the highest level of professionalism and an incredibly caring, warm, attitude. I’ve had multiple questions and concerns throughout my surgical experience and the PA’s will give you their own cell phone number to ask questions at any time. Dr. Mok will even text or call you personally to make sure you are okay and that all of your questions are answered. After my surgery, I received text messages that same night from the PA and Dr, Mok, just wanting to make sure I was okay. The result so far is wonderful and I am very happy. I recommend anyone considering breast augmentation to see Dr. Mok. The botox– another procedure that I’ve had with him, has also exceeded my expectations. I had it once before with a different practitioner and it was not the same. Dr. Mok is highly experienced in all of these procedures and it appears he lives for his work, which I personally admire, as a professional that also lives for her work.

Had a visit for Botox and was asked for my personal password to access the Brilliant Distinctions program at checkout. They stated it was necessary to add points and print available coupons. I stated that I would print coupons myself, but was still told that my password may be needed again on future visits. It was recommended that I write my email/​password on paper, where the employee then failed to use discretion so that others may have seen it.
I’ve had Botox several times elsewhere, and personal passwords are never needed for clinics to simply add points to Briilliant Distinctions. I called to speak to the department manager about this and left a message with someone on staff. My phone call was not returned.
I called again days later and the department manager finally returned my call. I explained my concerns, but was only told that I could my own points, or they could access my account with my personal log-​in info & password to add points and print coupons… which I already knew. At some point, she disconnected the call, and had failed to address my concern as to why my personal password may be requested to simply add points to the Brilliant Distinctions program.
I also had a few other concerns that were not mentioned due to the department manager disconnecting the call early on. If this is how relatively minor issues are handled, I won’t be returning.

I see Chris for laser tattoo removal. I got a tattoo when I was young on a whim and have wanted it gone for a very long time. The procedure is pricey but it works. It has taken a few treatments but I am happy with the results so far. I am still in the process of getting it removed.

A friend referred me here; I am 45 years old and had some acne scarring. I had Fraxel treatments performed at Allure and was VERY pleased with the results! My scars are drastically minimized after just a couple treatments. The staff is always friendly and professional and the prices are great; way better than my dermatologist’s office for the same treatments! I had a laser hair removal package at Allure as well, which i was also very pleased with! I went back today for a touch up. Kristina has been excellent. She is professional, informative and friendly and i always enjoy talking to her! I highly recommend Allure! Great service, great prices, great results.

Dr Mok is an organizational architect, a visionary & a caring leader who has created a world class medical spa serving Michigan and beyond. My work involves international assignments and I go to great lengths to return to Michigan’s Allure Medical Spa for my cosmetic needs. It’s a spacious state-​of-​the-​art facility providing affordable services with cutting edge technology and all the latest aesthetic treatments and procedures.
In July, Dr Mok corrected a droopy eyelid I had as a result of Botox received in NY. He injected a small amount of Botox in the exact right place to lift my brow which was putting pressure on my droopy eyelid and he also prescribed special eye drops to lift the lid. I’ve previously received other procedures/​treatments from Dr Mok and I have complete faith and trust in his accuracy, precision and artistry.
I find the entire support staff to be caring, supportive and helpful ~ all doing their own part to create the most comfortable experience for patients ~ ***** 5-​STARS all the way!

Because I was having discomfort a few days later I contacted my service provider. She said she was going to have her boss call me. No call. So I called the service provider’s boss. Left a message. Did not receive a call back for over a month. Please save your money, find an organization that really cares. I am now looking for a new Doctor to help me with my veins.

I had a partial hysterectomy in December, 2009 at the age of 32 then following year a ovarectomy which means my right ovaries taken in Feb 2010 then more after. I was going through so much and frustrated because my ob gyn when I told her I felt like my hormones were different she said blood work. We did she proceeded to tell me I was normal with one ovarie. I went in Allure for a hrt appt for hormones to see my options. Michelle the medical assistant was so nice and funny then I got to meet Stephanie the doctor. I waited to write my review since I’m now two months into the hormones to tell my experience. So they had me get clearance from my doctor which I did, then blood work was done. Two weeks later follow up was done to tell me my needs. I had like no hormones lol so my ob was wrong I was right so made me feel better. I wasnt crazy lol I’m now on progesterone started that first now also on testosterone as well. I feel amazing I’m sleeping now at night whoo hoo! Plus night sweats stopped and my husband is a little happier! Haha hope this helps I love them and wouldn’t change for the world! Thanks guys!

I had gone to Allure Medical Spa for the Cool Scult procedure. I had a baby recently and wanted to look my personal best for my upcoming trip to Miami. This procedure was supposed to be non invasive with little to no downtime. Patients could go back to work the next day. These were all lies. After my procedure, I was super swollen and had excrutiating pain in my abdomen area. It felt like tiny needles pinching me. The dr. had explained that the nerves were healing and the pain should go away in SEVEN days! WTF!!! After the pain, I had noticed a small difference, but nothing dramatic. The Dr. insisted that I purchase his weight loss and fitness program to see the best results. What a joke! This experience was a total waste of money and I recommend lipo instead!

I love the Fraxel laser treatment I received. I will be back really soon for another ! Christina performed it on me and did a fantastic job :) I also got some filler done. Cheryl did the filler but messed up my lip really bad and I had to see another doctor to get it dissolved which cause me a great deal of pain. The Med Spa offers many new procedures and the staff are super professional and nice. Although I had the bad experience with my lips I liked everything else so I will go back for other things.
