avoid this place like the plague! i thought i made it clear to the stylist that i want layers in the front and througout my hair as my hair is very curly and a bob would not suit me and what do i get is a bob and color is off as well, the base color is black and highlights have a orange tinge to them. i spoke to the owner who took almost an hour to return my call as i wanted them to fix my hair or receive a refund. this pompous idiot tried to turn it around and say that i was probably never happy with any other stylists in the past and it’s just me that is the issue. how dare he put this on me when in reality my hair sucks royal! are u kidding? i paid over $ 100 bucks and i feel like shit right now! and to u idiot, this is the 3^rd place ive been to in my life so i am not a constant complainer!

Megan has been great with my daughter and I. She has styled our hair for the past 4 years and really trust her with color and styles.

Redhouse really isn’t much of a stranger to me, I’ve been before… years and years ago when they were Salon Moulin Rouge… and many of the stylists I know from school, and home… I even ran into an old school chum there… Hi Suzy ;-)
I was itchin again… itchin for some change… so before I took the scissors in hand to «chop chop» … I searched Groupon (gag, I know… I know) for a deal! I saw Redhouse had one… and they were open on a Monday… I called. All booked. Shoot! Tomorrow? Yes. with Jill. Who’s Jill? How long has she been doing hair? Um… she’s the owner, like 20 years… Okay (sigh of relief) book it! I didn’t even buy the Groupon, I would rather have the salon get the whole commission…
I am seriously maniacal these days when it comes to my hair, and ten times I thought of canceling… but change is what I wanted, so I stuck it out. Livin on the edge! Woohoo. Okay then… Wow…I am old… anyway .I digress…
I know what I want, I know the lingo, I don’t let stylists bully me, so I told Jill my story… aaaand what I have, is nothing short of excellence!
I’m VERY happy with my result, and Jill was completely personable, as well as the other gals working, and I would love to return! I think I will!
When you research the salon, their website lists all of the credentials for each stylist… and I like this… I don’t want some hum drum yahoo, who learned one haircut, 20 years ago, and charging me up the wazoo for their «work»… Styles, trends, are always changing… If you’re not keeping up with the times, I’m not keeping up with you.
This, folks, was money WELL spent!

After going to another salon for years to have my hair cut and hi-​lighted, I went to Redhouse Salon after receiving a Groupon — on my first visit with Michelle, I showed her a few pictures of the color I wanted for my hair — the same pictures I showed my previous stylist at my previous salon (which resulted in my hair looking like a streaky, brassy blonde and not the Lauren Conrad blonde hi-​lights I wanted) and Michelle completely delivered — my hair looked gorgeous and I’ve been going to her regularly ever since. I always leave more than satisfied — Michelle is attentive, knowledgeable and incredibly talented. I couldn’t be happier with Redhouse and Michelle and I insist that everyone go here!!!

I recently purchased a Groupon to try this place out. It’s a beautiful salon, with typical somewhat friendly front desk staff. They were awesome about accommodating me into their schedule. I was scheduled with a very friendly stylist (will be unnamed). However, (this is why the lack of rating comes), after showing her numerous photos of what I was looking for, the style was not met. I feel like all she did was follow the lines of the last cut I had, where I was going for something different. Maybe other stylists there are great, but I wasn’t impressed. And after finding out she would have charged me $ 65 for a cut and style, that definitely convinced me I would not be returning. My quest continues…

I have been going the Redhouse for several years. I absolute love my colorist/​stylist Melissa. She listens to would I want, makes suggests when I need them and does a fabulous job. Loved it so much I am now taking my daughter. Front desk works hard to find times that work for you. I also love the product lines they carry, BB and aveda are my favorites!

I LOVE THIS SALON and every one of the stylists (I go to all different ones, they are all highly trained). I don’t understand the one previous review that they aren’t friendly … they are all friendly, talkative, stylish and welcoming. That had to be one moment in time or a distorted point of view. I have been coming here for 10 years now and I always get compliments on my cut and color. They have a great point system that rewards you if you buy products, and an incentive to purchase services in advance and get a credit to your account. I would recommend this salon to everyone for hair, massages, manis/​pedis, etc.

I bought a Groupon to go to Redhouse. I was given appointment with Jennifer. She did a great great job with the cut! AMAZING! The highlights were good but extremely light. Still, I would recommend her!

I had asked for an ashy brown color and a trim to clean up my ends. What I received was hair that is not quite ashy, but still has red/​warm tones. Fortunately I didn’t have to pay full price (Groupon), but I will not be returning to this salon.
The color isn’t terrible, just not what I had truly expected. Also, the cut was done nicely, though my ends still have a lot of split ends (isn’t the point of a haircut to get rid of them?). But I have to say that the cut was smooth, transitioned well and looked «salon» quality.
Nice and clean salon. But the stylists should try to be a little more professional. As I walked in, stylists (not the one that worked on me) just glared up and down at me. At least the receptionist was nice.

I have been coming here and seeing Julie for several years, and I can honestly say I have never been unhappy with her services. Her coloring skills simply cannot be beat, and she always gives me amazing cuts, even when I decide to do something really drastic. Even if I have no clue what I want done, she is always brimming with ideas, and I completely trust her to do whatever she thinks would be best.
Before I starting going to Julie, I bounced around to a lot of salons trying to find someone edgy and unconventional, especially when it comes to color. I’m so glad I found her, and at an extremely reasonable price!

I have been going to Redhouse for about 8 months and I can truly say they have a great thing going. Carrie does my hair and always listens and does a great job with my cut and is amazing with color.
The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had the best pedicure I have ever had in this salon.
The only thing I can say on the down side is that the product shelving needs to be kept cleaner. It is always very dusty. But other than that I love the salon!

I purchased a groupon for $ 50 a haircut, style and single color process normally worth at least $ 100 or more. I did look up salon ahead of time I choose Stephanie based on her profile and I loved her red hair! I was thinking of going red so I thought was good to go to her. My appt. time was 5pm I was greeted my desk politely, Stephanie came out to greet me and let me know she would be with me shortly. I was taken back around 510pm so not bad at all. loved how honest she was about choosing color. So I didn’t want a double process since I’m growing out my hair don’t want to damage. So we went with a more settle approach. Brown with red tones but stands out. Love the trim its perfectly even I have very curly hair and she understood how to cut so no razers or layers! Perfect blow out with a flat iron to just smooth but not needed if I didn’t want. Was perfect with blow out. She’s awesome funny and knows her way around hair.

Love love love this salon! Today was my first time going there, and Monika was my stylist. I went in for a cut and color and my only request was to come out looking different while keeping my long length. Monika totally succeeded, and I feel so beautiful. I might even have her do my hair and makeup for my wedding this August. I would recommend this place to everyone, and I will definitely be back again and again. The staff was friendly, the price is right! Thanks Monika, my fiancé LOVES my new haircut, and so do I!

Love this salon! Everyone makes you feel welcome, there is always good conversation and you leave gorgeous every time. I get my hair highlighted, cut, styled and blown out by Christy and she is amazing. My color comes out perfect, and my style just what i needed. The price is right too, join email lists, check Groupon and living social for deals. I will keep coming back again and again!
