In from out of town and hubby had an eye issue. Able to get in early and hardly any wait. The receptionist called several places trying to find an open pharmacy by us. Great experience. Would definitely go back if necessary.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Not only did I go there feeling so sick I thought I was going to puke. But get told that for now I just need to rotate Motrin and Tylenol. I went there a second time feeling worse than I did before but the doctor did not give me antibiotics when I clearly needed some. They do not give you medicine there they tell you all you need is some rest and to just gargle salt water if your throat hurts. Never in my life have I had a worse experience from them time after time. I highly recommend not going to that urgent care because they obvious do not treat you that way.

If you visit Shelby Urgent care you will not be disappointed. I went on a Saturday morning and there was little wait time. I was out in an hour and that included 20 minute breathing treatment .
The entire staff was fantastic. They all were very personable and really seem to care for your health .
I will use them in the future. .

I went here the Saturday after New Years Day with a cough that was 3+ weeks old; I was worried about pneumonia.
This place is clean, up to date and the staff is very friendly and compassionate — the receptionist, the nurse and the PA I saw.
It was VERY efficient considering it was a busy day; I was there less than 2 hours and that included a chest X-ray.
Importantly, I felt that the nurse and the PA took their time in listening to me and explaining things so that I felt satisfied and confident in their diagnosis and treatment (which turned out to be exactly what I needed.)
I highly recommend this place and plan to go back next time I am in need of urgent care.

Needing a doctor on a Sunday leaves one with little options… so even after the low reviews I went to have my throat checked for strep.
This clinic was nothing like I was expecting! Staff was kind, doc was thorough, and there was no issue with my insurance.
Being the only place around open on Sunday also meant quite a wait, but I figured as much and brought a book to pass the time. No problem. I’ll be back… if I’m sick… on a Sunday… but hopefully not. ;)

I took my son to Shelby Urgent Care for an asthma attack. Nicole was the one who gave him a breathing treatment right away. Since the treatment didn’t get his oxygen levels up to where they should be, she instructed me to take him to Beaumont ER. Nicole called ahead to the ER to let them know we were on our way. When I got to the ER, they rushed him back and had a team waiting for him. We ended up spending 3 days in the hospital. Nicole called frequently to follow up and see how he was doing. My son struggles with asthma, so we have seen a lot of Urgent Cares and hospitals. Nicole is the first person to call and follow up with me, even over a week past our hospital stay.
The reason I am giving them 5 stars is because of Nicole. As a mom of an asthmatic child, who is only six, I really appreciated her help and caring. I would definitely go back, as long as I knew she was working.
