Circle K Shell Gas Station

Not much to say. Typical gross and dirty gas station that doesn’t seem to clean their restrooms. Not that I was expecting much. I just had to pee.

I usually leave filling the cars up with gas for my husband to do. However on occasion a lady just has to take care of business for herself.
I came to this Shell Station as it is the least expensive major gas station in the area. Then if you use your customer loyalty card from the grocery store (Kroger) you get an additional ten cents off per gallon on your purchase. Thinking ahead I planned on charging my purchase to my Chase credit card for an additional 5% back from Chase.
Somehow I didn’t enter the cards in the correct order so my purchase came up at full listed price and the gas pump wouldn’t accept my credit card. The message instructed me to go inside to pay. Totally frustrated and ready to ding this place with my Unilocal review I went in to pay and mentioned my problems with the pump. The clerk was very polite and adjusted the price to be the ten cents off per gallon. My Chase card worked perfectly inside. Then as I was about to leave as a satisfied customer the clerk told me «In the future, just pull up to the pump and honk your horn or flash your headlights. We’ll be happy to send an attendant out to pump your gas.»
WOW, my hubby is off the hook in the future. I can handle this kind of gas station. This experience is a four star experience but I certainly will upgrade it to 5 stars when I have an attendant wait on me.
