Glass Doctor

Got a referral to use this glass company to do a storefront window display for our new office. Should have done my research prior, seeing all the negative reviews now I understand why. I initially set up the appt for Saturday morning, so i took the morning off work. I didn’t hear from them in the morning, so I called and spoke with Jamie who basically said no one’s coming to me today. no apologies. was he even going to call me to tell me not to wait around??? Fine, I guess emergencies happen so I decided to set another appt, this time for Tues morning. I called the day before, talked to Jamie again who said they again won’t make the time they promised and instead gave me a time range in the middle of the day. seriously ??? I work, I can’t just take another day off to wait for them. I told Jamie I want to stick with the appt they promised me, or I can take my business eleswhere. His response: «I guess you should» and he hung up on me! So disrespectful so unprofessional

Very poor customer service. They must be doing well because they do not need any new business.
We had a window busted out on our business. So we called them since they seemed like a reputable business.
They first demanded that I give them a credit card number so they could send someone out. They assured me that someone would call me in the next few minutes.
Of course this went on for about 3 hours. I would call back every 15 — 20 minutes and they would say he is going to call you right back.
Finally they said they called the owner of the local branch 3 times so it is clear to me that they do not need any business. So, I would suggest you find a different glass company. These guys are totally ok with their business and do not need anymore.
What a waste of my day!
If I ran my business like this I would have to close down.

I made an appointment to repair a minor chip but the guy never showed. I called and was told he was delayed at other appointments so I rescheduled for the next morning. Halfway through the appointment window I called and confirmed my appointment time. He never came and when I called they told me my appointment had been rescheduled to 1 – 4 without them making sure I was ok with it. I will never use this company again. I wasted 8 hrs waiting for the guy. Do they even send anyone out? I felt like my business wasn’t important to them.

Had someone throw a rock through my kitchen window; I need to replace that window fast. I called around town but many that I spoke to sounded kind of shady and would had done a Mickey Mouse job. I decided to go with glass doctor because they sounded professional over the phone, there was no hassling they were straight to the point. They came the next day they were fast with the work very clean.

these guys are terrible. i made an appointment for 3pm on the day before a long trip and took a couple hours off of work. i get a call at 3:30 asking if its raining, and if i have cover. that’s fine, i do. then at 4pm, i get a call that the glass they have is scratched, and they won’t be able to make it, but amazingly tomorrow at 8:30 works for them! after a few more questions, it sounds like they let their guys off at 4pm, and didn’t want to bother with the last appointment if it meant extra work. i don’t know whether its true or not that the glass was scratched, but if they could be at my place at 8:30 am with new glass, they could have put in a little extra effort and at least completed the job on the same day as the appointment, even if was a couple hours late. but maybe simply inspecting the glass in the first place might have helped… all in all i felt like i was being fed a story… after calling around they were also $ 100 more than the competition.
