Having recently closed a transaction with Granite Escrow, I cannot begin to shower enough superlatives upon Marcine and her team. I was the listing agent for a rather challenging transaction that had hurdles to overcome from both the buyer and the seller. Granite escrow was on the ball for my house sale and subsequent house purchase. Marcine was incredibly helpful and did all she could to make escrow as easy as possible. Granite Escrow Services is truly a gem. Finding an escrow service not attached at the hip to a real estate broker was refreshing and truly separates them from the pack. This would be my tenth home purchase and this was far and away the worst escrow experience I have ever had. Marcine Kline was not only rude, but also made some very careless mistakes. We kept receiving notices of non-​payment from our insurance company because the insurance company did not receive payment from Granite Escrow until 60 days after the close of escrow. This should have been paid at the close of escrow. The paperwork for our prop ⁶⁰⁄₉₀ was filled out by her office with the incorrect parcel number which was then sent to the city of Los Angeles. We were not given the option of meeting at their offices and having hard signatures on all of the documents. Even getting a complete set of documents was an inconvience for them. I have never experienced anything like this on any real estate transaction EVER. Absolutely the worst.

Marcine Kline is the best. I am not located close to Granite Escrow but whenever I have the choice… It is Granite Escrow.
I had a complicated Trust Sale and I don’t believe any other escrow company would have been able to handle it.
