This apartment building is not professionally managed. It can take months to get any repairs done. We signed our lease before moving in and were told we would get a copy of it. Well, we had to bug the manager with emails, phone calls, notes taped to rent checks and then only received it MONTHS later. Some people give up asking and then don’t even have a copy of their lease! The onsite manager, Diana, doesn’t understand that she must provide notice to the tenants before bringing in repair people. If you tell her you need something fixed, at any point in the following weeks or months, she will just show up with a plumber at your door, insisting to come right in. She DOESNOTRESPECTTHEPRIVACYOFTHETENANTS. No matter how many times she has been told what the rules are — that she needs to set up work appointments in advance — she refuses. When last I tried to talk to her about this, she yelled at me over the phone saying«I’ve been doin’ this for 20 years»! She then hung up the phone. She has a serious anger problem and is a nightmare to deal with. I have never heard of someone being SO terrible at their job and then not being fired. Her boss & the owner of this building know exactly what has been going on here and they have done nothing to fix it. Please weigh this information carefully if you are considering renting here. It isn’t worth the trouble.
