Last October I was diagnosed with some neuropathy in my right foot/​leg and I too was skeptical of acupuncture, but after having 2 MRIs, XRays, Cat scans, cortisone shots, and anti-​inflammatory meds I just kept feeling so bad. Nothing was helping. My friend recommended Neal to me and after a few months I finally made an appointment. After a 2 – 3 treatments in May I am able to say that I felt better than I had in the last 8 months. I would highly recommend Neal Miller to anyone.

Neal Miller is my go-​to doctor. I trust him for all my body-​medical needs and concerns. My brother not only urged me to see him, but made the appointment for me — that’s how much he himself believed in Neal. I was doubtful, seeing no need for acupuncture a few months after I had undergone a major brain surgery to remove a baseball-​size benign meningioma. On my first visit, he showed me against my utter disbelief that I was very stiff and could hardly walk or talk right, and was the first person to help me walk properly, even before I started to see other PTs and specialists over the next few years.
Neal is engaging and got under my skin with more than just needles, but with compassion and care and humor and common sense wisdom that I have never seen in any other doctor anywhere else, period. I also consider him to be my family’s doctor as he has treated several of us (mother, brother, sister, daughter, uncle). On top of all that, he is the only doctor I know who considers it part of his work to cook for his patients. I have not only sampled some of his incredible healthy gourmet style cooking, but he has influenced me to take better care of myself in the food department, and that alone has been worth it.
As my doctor, he has treated me for everything I brought into his office: post-​brain surgery care, broken collar bone from bicycle accident, various stomach ailments, tennis elbow in both arms, numerous injuries from my pursuit of speedskating (on ice), perpetual congestion and respiratory problems, depression, counseling and encouragement during breakup of marriage. At his suggestion, his T’ai Chi teacher became mine in 2009, and that suggestion has been a golden one to this day, even though together we bid our teacher farewell from this earth.
I have a short list of heroes who helped me to get back on my feet following that life-​changing brain surgery back in 2008. Neal Miller is one of those. I highly recommend him to you.

My experience with Dr. Miller was incredible. I came in there very skeptical, and left fully satisfied.
My problem was acne and acid reflux, but Dr. Miller got down to the root of the problem and helped me figure out the underlying causes. He spent at least 2 hours evaluating me and covered a variety of different factors that could be contributing to the problem. He was fully present the entire time, and for once In my life, I could tell I was with a doctor who really cared.
He gave my tons of advice and help on solving my problems and all their underlying causes, as well as other problems I didn’t even go in there for. Instead of just giving me a cream and some pills, he explained the relationship between my emotions and my skin/​body, posture and my acid reflux, diet and balance, life experiences and well being, among many other invaluable pieces of wisdom.
In the end i got some acupuncture, some tea, and a few herbal pills; but, most importantly, I walked out with a feeling of joy and kindness I haven’t felt in the longest amount of time. I would say that the verbal advice was just as effective as the acupuncture and tea/​pills.
The bottom line: Dr. Miller is smart, he knows what he’s doing, and he cares. If you want a doctor that won’t just rush you through a generic patient evaluation and then give you a generic treatment that might not work, go to Dr. Miller. I can guarantee you’ll be satisfied and get some advice you haven’t gotten from anyone else.

I cannot recommend Neal Stuart Miller highly enough. He listens, he cares, he takes time to know you and your condition. He doesn’t shun western medicine, and will work with your medications and doctors. He’s a master at acupuncture and herbs and the treatments are long and thorough. He is a wonderful doctor and human and has even given me delicious food when I was hungry a couple times as he is also a master chef! I leave there in a seep state of relaxation no matter how stressed I am when I arrive.

Dr. Neal is a miracle worker. I hobbled in on crutches, with a migraine, stomach pain and vomiting in his office and unable to keep anything down for 2 days. I had spent 8 hours the previous day in the ER where they were unable to find anything wrong with me. Dr Neal squeezed me in between patients an hour after I phoned and 3 hours later I felt so much better. He worked a miracle! I highly recommend him and he’s also funny and wise.

Dr Neil is my man! He’s helped me with my chronic back and neck pain for sometime now. I was referred to him by my good friend who knew him from his work with Sports teams. Although the office is nothing to write home about, what’s important is how I have been feeling with my treatments. I’m fortunate that my insurance is accepted here and that I have probably saved myself from many more expensive diagnostic tests by keeping on schedule with Dr Neil. He is truly compassionate and kind. I always look forward to my visits at his office.

I have gotten tremendous help and relief from Neal over the years. He has helped me where other acupuncturists have not been able to. I went to some nearer to me and ended up back at Neal’s after surgery. He has been so in tune with what I need. Peter is also very kind and helpful. Neal is tremendously knowledgeable about many aspects of medicine and healing, and I trust him. I feel I am in the best of hands when I walk in the door and I feel better when I leave, and as the treatment settles in. They are wonderful!

I’ve been to Neil and Amy now 2x, and I feel 100% grreat. I’ve been dealing with upper back, shoulder, neck pain due to being a Nail Tech for over a year now. Pain to the point of having to take Aleive daily. After my first visit of Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture I needed Aleive no more. During my second visit i could tell that I’m definitely on my way to a healthy and pain free future. I am very happy and fortunate to have came across Neil, and his wonderful staff.

I have gone to them 4 – 5 times now and was extremely happy. I used to get a cold every year and couldn’t get rid of it so I’d go to Studio City OMC. After taking the herbs and follow up sessions they recommended I always feel much better. Neil is well-​liked, involved in the community, very professional and cares about his clients!

Last February I got a very bad cold/​sinus infection and my whole immune system was weak from a year of traveling and less than ideal eating. Neal got me on the table and also did some focused massage along with a regimen of strong herbs. After about 4 visits I had kicked the infection and was much stronger. I was pretty sure I would have to take anti biotics when I walked in but was very happy to avoid that. He did a great job and he and his staff were very caring !

Neal Miller is the man! I walked in feeling sluggish and tight and walked out loose as a goose. He spoke plainly and matter-​of-​fact to me and gave me frank advice regarding my health. It was refreshing to find a practitioner to treats the whole person and not just symptoms.
