Lies and more lies, I would love people to read other reviews and notice that he overcharges everyone. He is now trying to say it was $ 300 dollars worth of service and he still wants to keep my tip. I will be taking this issue to small claims court. I will keep you updated.

I love coming here, and Ariella always makes me feel like family! She’s very professional and is a perfectionist, does an amazing job. I’ve always trusted and have been very pleased with the way she has cut and colored my hair all these years. She listens to and understands what you’re looking for, I never feel like I’m being rushed, and the whole experience is always so relaxing for me. She truly cares about her clients and loves what she does. My family and friends have gone to her and been very pleased with their experiences as well. In fact, even my picky teenager refuses to go to anyone else but her for his haircuts!

I just got a toner and a blowout by Bryan and my hair looks amazing. He really freshened up my hair color and my 6-​month-​old highlights look brand new. I am really impressed with his work and very happy with my hair. I will definitely be back and try other services with him.

Today, I had the worst thing EVER happen to a bride… Two days before my wedding my hair stylist, who I trusted flaked on me and cancelled my hair appointment. We were supposed to do a gray coverage color, highlights, cut & hair extensions clipped in & shaped.
Two days before my wedding I had no one I could call on to save my hair on my wedding day. I called salon, after salon looking for an appointment in the next 30 minutes. I called Serenity & spoke to a very nice, calming man named Bryan.
He assured me they could take care of me & set me up an appointment with Ariella.
I was scared shirtless. This was my wedding day & I was letting someone do my hair I had never even met!
From the moment I walked in Ariella was calming & reassured me everything would be fine.
She didn’t lie.
She matched my hair perfectly to the extensions I bought. Did great color, cut & shaping. Ariella has a customer for life & I highly recommend her.
Serenity is not a flashy, snobby, Hollywood salon. It is a no nonsense, get the job done right salon… And I now trust them with my life!

Ariella is the best!!! I was referred to her by a friend. Before coming to this salon, my hair was completely damaged from bleach (I had an ombré). Ariella totally fixed the color and gave me an awesome trim, and now my hair is looking & feeling healthy again!
Ariella spent time on my hair, and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. She genuinely cared about my hair, and was also super friendly and professional. She also gave me a beautiful blow dry.
I strongly recommend Ariella to anyone who’s looking to have long healthy luxurious hair.

I came into the salon for a haircut and color. The salon is no frills, but the hairstylists make up for it. Each one of them is very friendly and it is easy to make an appointment, especially since they are open on Sunday’s. Today, Heidi did my hair for the first time. I’ve been here before and she was assuming I wanted the same color as the last time. I told her it was too dark for me and she immediately knew what to do and how to achieve the best look for my skin and eye color. My hair color turned out absolutely beautiful. Rich, dark, yet there are still hues of lighter brown to give my hair some dimension. She followed my color with her signature cut and I absolutely love it! Heidi is so personable, friendly and experienced. With 26 years under her belt, I felt like I was in good hands from the get go. Don’t come here if you are looking for a luxurious ambiance. Come here if you want a great cut with an experienced stylist. Thanks Heidi! I’ll be back. Xo

I am so happy I found this salon, thank you so much Bryan for my color correction. I am very pleased with your work, your patience and for the passion you have for your job is amazing. I went several salons within a month and they all ruined my hair, leaving me with a brassy hair color. Bryan is very professional and very knowledgeable about color, especially if you want to have blonde hair without damaging and frying your hair. I never met anyone who took the time to explain their client the whole process of color correction as Bryan did. Got a great hair cut today! It’s super stylish and was done so fast! I was hesitant at first. But I’m so glad I came in! Bryan knows his art well.

Like always, I am extremely pleased! Bryan does such a good job giving me a hair consultation and really listening to what I want. I went in with hair down to my waist and I left with shoulder length hair… big transformation isn’t it? It was, but I was so sure I’d leave feeling great!

I go to serenity salon for many years and I love Bryen and Heidi they really taking care of customer and they know what they are doing very professional and up skill my hair is super curly and dry every time they do my hair I feel wonderful !!! Price is so affordable I highly recommend!!! love you guys and thank you

I went by five minutes after their posted closing time. The doors were wide open & I thought maybe I could get a man’s trim haircut. I walked in & a woman was sitting with her feet up & a phone to her ear. I said «Hello» 3 or 4 time & was totally ignored. Then some guy walks in from the back phone to his ear. points at me & walks out the back door.
All anyone had to say was «we’re closed». To be dismissed the way I was is the height of poor service. After reading the bad reviews I’m glad they didn’t touch my hair.

I got a Brazilian Blowout and a fabulous cut… It’s three weeks later and still: I could not be happier with the results. Bryan is skilled, efficient, absolutely charming and just the person I want to nurse my hair back to a healthy sensational look. It was my first experience and I will definitely be back. There are so many excellent salons in Studio City: Serenity Hair Salon is the choice experience. I recommend! … easy parking out back as well!

Just stepped out of the salon. I had the black caviar treatment done to my hair. Hair already feels silkier and smoother than before and was definitely worth it. Bryan was very sweet, professional, and friendly. I’ll be back.

Hands down the WORST haircut I’ve EVER received in Los Angeles. The man was impatient with me and at one point made a comment that his cuts usually «only take 3 minutes»…I was getting a fade with a cut in the top… it looked AWFUL. The he blamed me! The customer!!!
I went to Champions Barber shop and the guy luckily was able to save my cut. Enough said.

I went here for a hair cut, service was super fast quick and I was very pleased with bryans work. He made sure to explain how short my hair will be and did a small portion before cutting my hair. Pricing was good for the amount of time he placed working on my hair.
