Tic Time of Sherman Oaks, Inc.

Before my previous visit, I would have given them 5 stars but because of my recent experience I can only give them 3 stars.
I’ve gone to these folks for years, generally, good workmanship and quick service. They recently tried to overcharge me for services that otherwise would be less expensive or free.
I brought 3 watches with me for a quote. 2 Kenneth Cole watches, one leather strap and one metal band, and 1 Burberry metal band watch.
The KC metal band watch needed a size adjustment which I originally got adjusted there but it wasn’t quite right. The band was too loose on my skin. This in my opinion should have been done free since it wasn’t done to my satisfaction the first time. Quote 10 bucks.
The other 2 watches needed batteries. Quote 10 bucks for battery replacement on the KC leather band watch and 20 for the Burberry watch (when I’ve been charged 10 in the past).
I told the repairman I would take my business elsewhere because I thought the adjustment should be free. Repairman tried to lose the price from 10 bucks to 5 bucks to free. By then I was soured on their tactics and their lack of integrity.
I left and took my business to Bestime watch repair service in Sherman Oaks. Best decision I’ve ever made. I went from a quote of 40 bucks to spending 22 bucks on adjustment and batteries. Can’t beat the service, workmanship, and price of Bestime watch repair. Aloha Tic Time.

Robert is AMAZING! I cannot speak highly enough about him. I found him randomly on Unilocal,called him, he gave me exact directions on how to find his booth in the mall. He fixed my necklace in less than 5 minutes while I waited and we had a great conversation. None the less, the watches and jewelry he has at his stand are BEAUTIFUL! It was hard to walk away without buying one. I found my #1 jewelry repair man! Fast, easy, and affordable. Couldn’t be happier! I cannot recommend Robert enough :)

I brought my watch in to replace a pin that fell off on the security clasp. I had also brought in another watch for a battery replacement. The service was fast with everything finished in under 10 minutes. No real complaints about the service. My only issue is the fact that the pin costs 15 dollars. It’s definitely on the pricier end for a simple repair. But there is a Unilocal deal 5 for 10 dollars so it ended up costing me just 10.

I just recently got my Croton watch a friend gave me when he was moving out and it didn’t work, didn’t have an issue with it, so I found this place and he was amazing! Customer service was high as expected, takes his job seriously and same for the lovely lady as well. He fixed my watch to the perfect size and made sure I was comfortable. He gave me a great deal which saved me money. I really recommend this place like for real. Thank you, now I can wear it in style

I can highly and unequivocally recommend Tic Time. Robert, the owner, is a kind person, as well as an honest and fair businessman. We brought him an older Rolex, which he fixed perfectly. Robert charged an incredibly fair price for the amount of work that he did. He has also adjusted necklace lengths for us and fixed our charm bracelets. Robert’s prices are reasonable and his integrity is high. Be assured that your jewelry is safe with Robert.

I found this gem on Unilocal so thank you to everyone’s reviews! I concur with everyone. Tic Time is amazing! I went to have links removed and he said it would be only a few minutes. I was shocked because most places ask for a day at least. He was super friendly and answered a few questions I had and in less than 10 minuets I had the watch and was on my way.

I visited Tic Time today and I had a pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends and family.

I definitely recommend this place. My watch’s battery was dead and it was super inconvenient for me in my life. I went to the store based on the Unilocal review and they replaced my battery in less than 15 minutes with a reasonable price. The staff is very nice and helpful. Now my watch works again like a new one. I’m so glad that Unilocalers help me find this store.

Took my girlfriends Michael kors watch in for a repair. One of the number dials came off and was swimming around the watch. Robert was a huge help and was very informative. He made the watch look like new and was very professional. On top of that, it only took 30 minutes! I will bring all my jewelry needs to him. Thank for being awesome.

My headphone jack broke inside my iPhone and the little piece was stuck in there. I brought it to the apple store to fix… They said I had to pay $ 300 for a new one OR have someone else try and pull it out (risky).
They recommended this place. Robert was the man who helped me. He got the broken piece out and my phone WORKS and it was only $ 35. Also most iPhone repair places I called before hand were charging $ 50 – 100.
DEFINITELY GO HERE IF YOUR HEADPHONE JACK BREAKS IN YOUR PHONE.

I have been sitting on a bad ass watch my dad gifted me for over a year now. The watch was just too big and I was partially too lazy to go get it re-​sized and partially fearful I would pass over my watch to some random outfit that would muck it up.
I found Tic Time through Unilocal and was immediately impressed by all of the glowing 5 star reviews. I decided it was a no brainer and next day took my watch in to get it fixed. I wish I got the gentleman’s name who re-​sized the band — he seemed like the owner? In any case, he was totally professional, very sweet and handled my watch in about 20 minutes. AND it only cost me $ 10! I will bring all of my watches to Tic Time and have already referred my family to them. Easy, good service and now I am wearing my beautiful watch! Very pleased.

I really hate myself for being lazy once to drive to tic Time.
I went one time! to other place to change battery, and it end up with them ruined my watch. To make long story short…
They had to send it to Seiko, and they came back with $ 300 quote 2 months later.
I asked to get the watch back.
Went to Tic time, and after 30 MINUTES and $ 65.
I got my watch back.
Don’t go anywhere else these guys really knows what they doing.
I hate malls but he earned a client for life.

Really happy I found this place! I was in desperate need of a new battery for my Michael Kors watch and I called a couple places before I found this one. The other places I called were obviously trying to rip me off and said they could take anywhere from an hour to a day to fix it!
I came here and a really nice/​helpful guy with a beard (only way I could describe him) helped me for a reasonable price and he did a great job. On top of that he was fast, by the time I picked up a pretzel downstairs and came back my watch was ready!

My Michael kors watch was slow, and would stop frequently! I needed a battery change, and Tic Time helped me out!

Very professional, courteous, fairly priced, fast. Did an excellent job resizing my watch at less than half the price of the other watch repair shops in the mall. Will go back for anything else I need for my watches. Nice selection of elegant, affordable jewelry as well. Saw a bracelet that goes perfectly with my watch… May just have to go back and snatch it up before someone else does! ;)
He even set the time on my watch for me. Not a big deal to do myself, but a nice touch and speaks volumes about his attention to detail!
