Absolute Tan

Zero stars for my first trip to this business. On Monday, June 22, 2015 at approximate 4:45 I visited absolute tan with my daughter. I had spoken with a very friendly and helpful person by phone a few days prior and was really looking forward to my daughter and I getting a nice spray tan before we head out on vacation. Unfortunately we chose to not give this business our time and money. Upon arriving at the store, we were not greeted by the 50-​ish year old blonde body-​builder looking clerk. When I asked to use the restroom before getting started with our questions, she was oddly standoff ish about telling me where it was. I was still dressed in business casual clothing and my daughter was dressed in dressy casual shorts outfit so we didn’t appear homeless or anything so I don’t know why she was so unfriendly upon our arrival. While I was in the restroom, my daughter said this clerk was also rude and unhelpful to a mother and her son who came in inquiring about products/​services. When I came out of restroom, my daughter and I approached the counter and told the clerk we wanted to do spray tans. She never once smiled at us or used a friendly tone. She even went so far as to tell us that our spray tans would strip at the coast. After telling her we still wanted to do them. She just kind of stood there snarling at us. So I told her we were new to spray tanning and would like her to give us some information. After a brief and condescending sentence or two I realized that this was not a place that deserved my money. My daughter and I left without her even trying to get us to stay. Too bad for this company too because I work for a very large employer in a neighboring town than employs hundreds and hundreds of females. Also, my daughter is a college student with a very active social media following. We could have been promoters of this business instead of now feeling compelled to share our awful experience. Absolutely RUDE is what we experienced. Bummer.

This is a really neat Tanning Salon — and it’s VersaSpa which def is THE best. They’ve got a lot of tanning beds and a couple of spray tan booths (so no long waiting times), high-​quality products for sale and a convinient location just by the highway (and close to Starbucks :-D). Their prices are higher compared to what I paid before in Flower Mound but since it’s VersaSpa-​tanning (the spray tan) I know I get the best quality. :-)

Love this place and the ladies that work here! Beds r amazing! Best place in sherman.
