I’m from California, where good Mexican food is easy to come by. Since moving to Seattle I have found very few. I am happy to say that Grumpy’s is on that list. This burrito (the Mac burrito, great veggie option) is SO GOOD. So many great veggies and spices happening. Thank you Grumpy’s!

Best Mexican food in Seattle, and I’m from Elfrida, I KNOW good Mexican.
There’s plenty of room for parking, but only one table outside, so you’d better order to go. The staff is decidedly UNgrumpy and quick. They were happy to take my phone number on a rainy day do I could stay dry in my car and they could text me when my order was ready. They also gave me their number so I could order ahead in the future. And they accept credit cards (so many other great food trucks are cash only).
Fresh ingredients. Excellent homemade salsas. A nicely varied menu includes vampiros, mole, and memelas.
This place is definitely my fave.

I can’t recommend this place enough. They are seriously skilled cooks and some of the nicest people around. The way they prepare their ingredients (perfectly seasoned and professionally cut) is what sets this place apart from other taco trucks. Their carne asada and lengua are maybe the best I’ve had, and their ‘vampiros’ are out of this world.

Seattle usually have horrible latin american food. I love Seattle but damn, Mex is bad here (pupusas too). It’s probably because we’re on the wrong end of the border for delicious Mexican.
But this place… this place was pretty yummy! Good value and prompt. Guac and sour cream runs 50 cents extra. Will definitely return.

The fajitas burrito wasn’t that good. won’t get it again.
Update 2:
Had the taco with lengua (cow tongue) — omgg so good. 3 for 5 bucks! Awesome! They don’t sprinkle quesco fresca on their items.

The Food here is amazing. The Quesadilla are do flavorful and the tacos are huge!!! Best authentic Mexican food around!!!
