We split a sandwich tonight, this place has changed a lot since my first review. Sandwich’s are ¾ the length of the standard bahn mi. Ours had so much pickled carrot & radish we didn’t even taste the bbq pork and meatloaf. I couldn’t tell if there was any pâté, & very little cilantro, I asked for spicy yet we got two slices of pepper. Sure the price is good for a bahn mi, but these are not what anybody should expect from a Vietnamese sandwich. For a good sandwich I recommend Billiard Hoang.

Quite delicious for a rainy Seattle winter day. The #1 curry bahn mi and hot & sour soup were really, really flavorful. I could eat that soup every day. Service was great, and the combo came with the sandwich, soup and canned soda for around $ 7.00. Beats the heck out of a combo from some fast food place that seem to have gotten quite expensive lately for what you get. Gonna try the spring rolls and pork bahn mi next time. Yum!

Egg rolls are the best. Better than Seattle deli. Service is also very friendly and prices are good! Even the teriyaki chicken is simple and good I will definitely continue to go here. Yum!

Excellent Bahn Mi! and cheap! This is going to be so dangerous for me. These are my favorite sandwiches in the world and I drive by this place every day. Almost impossible not to stop. Just the best sandwiches ever!

Good teriyaki and egg rolls. The sandwiches are okay. Never enough meat on them. More bread and veggies… Alittle More meat would be nice.

Awesome sandwiches. Nice service. Great place. We stopped here based on others reviews on Unilocal.Their sandwiches are not the really long ones. They are like the ones we had in Saigon when we lived there. Filled full of flavor and stuff.

I was in the area and looking for some quick, cheap food that I could eat on the go. I happened to pick this place and had no idea it would be so good. Basically, they had everything I was looking for. Banh mi for $ 3.50 is a steal, and I was able to eat it in my car. I would still love to come back and take more time to enjoy their other options, though. I also ordered a milk tea that was only two dollars. Nowhere else will you find prices that low for drinks like this. The sandwiches are also great for their price; I’ve seen them at four or five dollars at other restaurants. My biggest complaint is that the sandwiches aren’t that big and didn’t make me full, but that’s not a huge deal when almost everything else is done right.

You know a place is good when I’m thinking about what I’m going to order next time before I even finish my meal. The Bahn Mis here are really good, by far the best I’ve found North of the ID. Perfectly fresh crunchy veggies, spicy jalapenos, soft bread that doesn’t scratch the roof of your mouth, you know what I’m talking about! Couple all that with the tender, flavorful meat of your choice and it does not get any better. Except for maybe the Thai Iced Tea to wash it down. $ 6 for a Bahn Mi and a Thai Iced Tea. JACKPOT!

The banh mis are delicious and they are only $ 3.50! Not the cheapest banh mi but certainly reasonable and the sandwich is delish. The guy here is so nice, too. I love coming here when I remember to stop in!

This restaurant has one of the best sandwiches i even had. The iSandwich –curry chicken tastes amazing. It might be a little spicy since it has spicy chili pepper. I also had their Thai Tea, which is addicting:) The service is nice and quick. The prices are reasonable, however you should pay cash if your order is less than $ 10 to avoid an extra-charge for using your card. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

A decent size Banh Mi sandwich only really fresh bread for $ 3.50? WOW. How do these people stay in business? Well, first of all, the location is a low-rent strip-mall right in the middle of beautiful Aurora Avenue. Second, when you think about it, the amount of meat you are getting on your sandwich is probably about 1⁄3 to ½ the amount you would get at a typical Teriyaki joint. But the sandwich is still filling and satisfying. I got the chicken curry(because it was #1 on the board). There was quite a bit of curry sauce and not a ton of chicken but it was adequate. Pretty spicy too, medium, just right. This was a pretty potent curry that I wasn’t real fond of the flavor profile, but I wouldn’t say it was bad. I think I’ll opt for just the grilled chicken next time. Lots of veggies. And as everyone else says, awesome bread. This sandwhich is almost as big as the 10″ at Plume in Kirkland for half the price. To make sure I was stuffed I got a couple fresh rolls. Combo with sandwich and a drink under $ 8 and I WAS stuffed. Fresh rolls were decent. Pretty big but of course 80% noodles and not a variety of veggies. They should have thrown some green onion or basil in to give it some zip. The peanut sauce that comes with it was good. Friendly fast service. 5 stars. Value 5 stars. Food 3.75 stars from w

Decent vietnamese sandwiches here! Its small and uncrowded. I see huge potential here and i really want them to succeed! They could clean the place a little, and by that, i mean, put away the soda boxes, get better curtains to cover the hallway leading to the bathroom, and take down or fix the christmas lights, plants, and tea station at the entrance. The sandwiches are good! Personally, i prefer their soft fluffy bread over the long thin bagette versions. Their combos are amazingly cheap! Its $ 6.95 for a sandwich, two spring rolls, and a soda. Loving it!

I don’t live anywhere near here, but I keep returning and bringing friends. My favorite is the ISandwich, a sort of curried chicken bahn mi. There are a number of other things on the menu, but I can’t get myself to order them. I love the sandwiches too much. It’s a typical strip-mall restaurant, functional, but not a place you’d want to hang out. If you like vietnamese sandwiches please come and check this place out.

A sandwich doesn’t get much better than this. Delicious, fresh veggies on a warm, pillowy baguette, with perfectly grilled chicken… FORUNDER4DOLLARS. That’s right, folks. A hefty, delicious and well made sandwich for couch change. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s true. Friendly owners, amazing sandwiches on the cheap. Keep these guys in business!

I got a chicken banh mi. I wasn’t that impressed. The bread didn’t seem that fresh and the taste was not too impressive. I got an iced coffee which is one of their specialty drinks and that was very good. The sandwiches are huge and inexpensive. I will probably give it another try because it’s pretty popular with my co workers. You can get a sandwich for under $ 5. It’s way better than subway!

This place is definitely better than Lee’s Sandwich chains in Los Angeles. When we walked in, this very friendly man welcomed us and made sure he gave us enough time to peruse the menu. Both my husband and I thought he was so awesome because he has this big genuine warm. During our lunch, he checked up on us to see if we liked the food. I rarely experience such fantastic and outstanding service. I’d give him two stars alone for just how pleasant and kind he was. The sandwiches were good too. My husband got the curry chicken sandwich and I got the chicken sandwich. They were both really yummy. The bread was toasted. Each bite there was a balanced portion on pickled vegetables, chicken and cilantro. The spring rolls were pretty good. However, I thought there was too much vermicelli stuffed in the roll. We went at about 10:30 a.m. and we were the only customers. I sure wish this place has more business. This place is totally a 5 star restaurant given the taste, service, and price. Ding, ding, ding! This place is a winner.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for awhile because it’s in my hood. A group of us went in today for a bite to eat. I ordered the tofu bahn mi. At $ 3.50, it was an okay deal. The tofu had a light lemongrass flavor(I like my flavor bolder). Also, instead of being cut in chunks, the tofu was sliced in a thin patty. The veggies were okay but could have used a little more cilantro and more than one jalapeño. The bread is fluffier and less dense than I’m used to. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I enjoyed it. I also tried the BBQ pork bahn mi. The flavor of the pork was okay but I could have used more of it. My kiddo wanted the phở. The beef broth was okay. The noodles, however, seemed like they were prepared ahead of time and definitely overdone and soaked with liquid, reminding me of the noodles in chicken noodle soup. It took 3 of us to finish the dish because none of us liked it. At $ 5.95, the portion was small and definitely not comparable to many other places nearby. We also had shrimp chow mein. The shrimp did not look appetizing because they were a bit small and apparently butterflied before cooked. They tasted okay but I’m used to having larger pieces in my food. The noodles were okay in terms of texture and flavor. The portion was extremely small compared to other comparable places nearby and at $ 7.95, was likely the worst deal we had. I thought the chicken teriyaki would be a great deal because it was $ 3.95 during lunch. Not the case. The amount of chicken would be what I would equate to about ¼ of a breast of chicken sitting on a bed of rice. The chicken seemed to be marinated but a little hard and not juicy at all. The cut was lean, which was nice. Overall, I would go back for the sandwiches. I’m not sure that I will experiment with other dishes because I think I had a broad enough taste of what they have to offer. Customer service was okay but after my group arrived, about 4 – 5 other groups came in to order. I think we would have gotten more attention had there not been a rush.

What I liked: –The price was great for what we ordered. $ 4.99 for chicken teriyaki, $ 2 for thai tea, and $ 3.50 for a vietnamese ham sandwhich. What I didn’t like: –The dishes weren’t as delicious as others made them seem –3 out of 6 items on the menu weren’t even offered! It seemed like the guy working there didn’t even know what was on his own menu. «Can we order the fried ice cream?»… «No we don’t have that.’» or «Can we order ___soup?»… «What soup? …We only have 2 soups.» –It took FOREVER to get our food. At least a good 20 minutes for such a simple order! and the place wasn’t busy at all. –The guy took our order after we were standing there and another couple came in. He took theirs first, and finally when he was taking ours he got a phone call and waved his hand at us dismissively. I will NOT be coming back unless I’m out of a job and this is all I can afford.
