Taco del Mar is always a great, fast, delicious and convenient choice. My wife and I love coming to get lunch when we do our errands around here. It is so easy to eat vegan here. We always get the mondito burrito and we just get it with no meat or cheese. Since we get no meat, they always give us extra beans which is awesome. We have never had a bad experience here. We always get a vitamin water to go with it as well which has 100% of b12, which vegans need since we don’t eat meat.

Wanted a quick bite and was feeling Mexican. Ordered a Baja bowl and the picture on the menu appears much larger than the plastic bowl you receive. For $ 6.50 I expected more food from a fast food joint. Could’ve done chipotle and had twice the amount of food. Note taken. Quality of the food is average. Soggy rice brings it below a 3 star. Although the place was dead the workers seemed completely uninterested in helping me figure out what I wanted to eat(it’s my first time trying Taco Del Mar). Small selection of toppings compared to Moe’s Southwest Grill. Considering taking the only bottle of Chulula sauce home with me but it’s nearly empty. If you’re looking for fast texmex or Mexican food, look elsewhere.

This rest. is awesome. I am disabled and the gentlemen were so helpful with everything. The food was the best. I was asked if I needed anything and they helped me out. Great Place!

We come here a lot! The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. I’m loving the new reaper sauce! Sometimes parking can be challenging because this is busy spot. Home Depot, Starbucks, jersey Mikes.

Quick, easy and tasted delicious! Recently they even catered a Yacht party with dips, lil burritos, and chips! It was exactly what i needed to calm my hunger. The owner is down to earth and loves people. Highly recommended!

This was recommended by family and, honestly, I’d suggest other similar burrito places better. The setup is simple and straight forward for ordering, and the ingredients seem fresh enough, but the overall taste just didn’t stack up to Chipotle or even Freebirds. Won’t give it a frown, but would choose others first of an option.

Been to this TDM a dozen plus times I am l familiar with the staff and they are familiar with me. Manager loves to joke around I get great service I order the super beef burrito, wet with both enchilada sauce and queso sauce and I love it. It’s a bummer that some people have gotten so bad service here I guess that can happen anywhere but I would recommend stopping by this Taco Del Mar.

If you’ve ever seen the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld, it was kind of like that. While Rude Angry Guy did not actually say«no taco for you!» it sure felt like he did. I walked out of the place, bewildered, without a taco. Sad day. **Edited to add: After reading Jessica S’s review, and having almost THEEXACTSAMEEXPERIENCE, I’ll be following up with a complaint as well. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but apparently there is something very wrong with one of the employees there. Yelling at customers is not ok!

I give this place all 5 stars, they are friendly, they have very good memory, they give great service whether it’s at a busy lunch hour or 10 minutes before they close after a Mariners game. and last but not least, they do a great job with their food preparation. I would suggest this place/location to anyone who loves tacos, or burritos, or any Mexican food of that sort.

So I went on the Islander Yacht for Seafair & for the 1st time EVER the catered food was DELISH! They had 7 layer dip w/jalapeños &3 kinds of burritos, super tasty salsa, bomb guacamole… etc When I asked where it came from they said Taco del Mar! Yum! I haven’t been to many of their locations but I would go out of my way to go to this one & so should you!!!

For a «fast food» Mexican restaurant. It is very good. Very reasonably priced. A lot of people bitch about the service but I never have any problems. My wife works next door at the starbucks so I eat at TDM quite often. Julio is the best… very quick and super friendly! Very quick service all around! For the people that give bad complaints… they must have never worked in that type of job. Everyone had there bad days. That is all.

I live in the part of the country that does not have a Taco Del Mar. So, when I come to Seattle, I always go to Taco Del Mar. But, this is my last trip to TDM! They have a huge picture on their wall of a salad in a platter. I said, «I would like that»(and pointed to the prominently placed poster on the wall. The worker looked at it and said, «You can’t have it.» Startled, I asked, «I can’t?» She said, «You can get a salad bowl [formed out of deep fried flour tortilla].» She became frustrated when I asked if I could get it in a platter without the flour tortilla. She huffed. Ironically, the salad she made looked exactly like the poster on the wall. But she didn’t know how to charge me for this salad bowl without the bowl. She snarled and gave me a caustic look, especially when I didn’t tip her for her«good service.» I’ll never go back to TDM, although many other reviewers warn that this particular site is worse than others.

This taco del mar has nothing special going for it, but also has nothing negative to report about it. the biggest knock is the burritos are sometimes loosely wrapped. the biggest plus is the staff is cheerful and quick. if you live in the area and like burrito places it is worth stopping in.

I’m a TDM fan, but not of this one. I ordered a two taco combo… chicken tacos and chips with salsa. As far as the tacos go, they were ok. I ordered flour tacos, and the left them a bit long in the press and came out a bit crunchy, but that was ok. The chips tasted like fish… like they put them in the oil right after frying fish. Terrible. And the pico de gallo was horrible. Mushy and flavorless. I went up to get a soda, and the diet was coming out a strange brown color. Obviously the mix was off. I told the guy behind the counter… he opens the cupboard where the syrup was held, pushed the arm to let some soda flow… and then said«nope, everything is ok». Really? So I quickly ate my tacos and threw away the chips, salsa, and soda. I paid all that for two crunchy soft tacos. Very disappointed. Thank my lord that not all TDMs are as bad as this one, otherwise they would lose a customer. They definitely aren’t what they used to be first enjoyed them about eight years ago.

I love Taco Del Mar, don’t get me wrong… its a great place to eat… but the service at this particular location is horrible. To make a long story short, I was literally yelled at by a worker because he couldn’t understand my order. I speak perfectly clear english(I’m an educator) and when he heard VEGAN taco instead of the CHICKEN taco i ordered he refused to make me a new one. I kept telling him i wanted a chicken taco so he threw a fit and not only embarrassed me but himself. When I called him out on the poor customer service he told me he was going to make my «CHICKEN» taco and then he wanted me and my daughter out of the store. Note he was saying this very loud so it was embarrassing for everyone. Needless to say, I haven’t gone back since and i have written a formal complaint. If you read other reviews, you’ll see the customer service is minimal. Feel free to try your luck!

Well I can tell you, at least it’s not Taco Bell. This particular TDM has been a little better than the other ones I’ve been too. The people there are pretty friendly. I would only eat there if I had to. The food is still bland compared to what I was used to in Southern California. I still recommend getting your burrito wet, but even that costs extra.

The food here is alright. It’s better than Taco Bell. The price is adequate and the store seems clean. The staff could improve in their conversation skills by slowing down. I had a tough time understanding spanglish that I had to ask the guy what he said three times. I thought it was only me but I always hear at least one customer having a hard time understanding the staffs English.

I’ve always had a great experience here. Everyone is friendly and usually quick with a joke, even when they’re busy, which they often are. The food is always fresh and I’ve never been unhappy with any of the burritos. I think the mondito is a perfect size, unless you’re starving. I’m surprised by what I read regarding the punch cards, I was here yesterday and they were more than happy to punch my card, and have always been good about it. I have also never had an issue in redeeming them, but I hear they are under new management or ownership, so possibly that was an old issue. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they charge 1.99 extra for sour cream and guacamole, which is way too much for slapping a spoonful of each on the tortilla, but it just doesn’t taste the same without it!

This particular Taco Del Mar is terrible. They have refused to accept my punch card for some reason so I don’t go there anymore. Their portions are very small and they love to charge extra for everything. The service is rarely friendly and usually downright rude. Stay away from this store! If you like Taco Del Mar, visit a different one!
