XOMA Salon & Spa

Minit is awesome :0)! She is great with hair care… superior color and stylist… she is a natural jewel. She does a beautiful job every time! Great customer service… Best Salon by far.

It makes me sad to write this because the first time I went to Xoma I fell in LOVE with my haircut. It was exactly what I wanted and was done beautifully. That is the ONLY reason this is not one star.
My second visit– I went in for a trim of my already short hair and to «lighten my hair one or two shades so it looked more natural» (my exact words– I had dyed it a little darker than I like). Fast-​forward 30 minutes and I have fire engine red hair and everyone who works at the salon is trying to convince me to keep it and saying it’s ‘fine’ and ‘don’t worry, your job can’t fire you for your hair color’. Ummmm? My stylist then says, «it’s okay we can go darker and it will fade to this color.»
A — I came in to get my hair LIGHTER, not darker, and B — I did not want it to fade to fire engine red thank-​you-​very-​much.
So we dye it darker (read: purple) because I am NOT walking out of there with Unilocal-​logo-​red hair. She then proceeds to chop off my side bangs and gave me super-​short, uneven bangs straight across my forehead. Not quite the ‘trim’ I was looking for.
I went right next-​door to Harmon as soon as I left. All I have to say is thank God for ColorOops, box color, and deep conditioner because I managed to fix it myself.
$ 145 dollars for 3-​hours of my life I’ll never get back and I go home with color stains ALL over my face and neck and purple hair that I then had to fix myself? I don’t know what was going on there, but I know that I will not be going back to find out.

The atmosphere was amazing; high class, relaxing, & professional without being pretentious & uncomfortable. Every time I’ve gone somewhere else to get my hair dyed red it’s ended up being purple/​pink or orange; that didn’t happen when I went to Xoma!!! I live an hour away & am actually looking forward to driving back there next time because it was well worth it!!! Eric was very professional & did an amazing job!!! My hair looks great!!! I’ve never left a salon happier!!!

i love this salon! Minit and Nancy are true professionals and great at what they do.
Their prices are definitely worth it, I always leave happy and look forward to going back on my next appointment !

The salon is modern and absolutely beautiful. I found the owner who cut my hair to be sarcastic and rude. I told him how I wanted my hair cut. He waived me off and told me he knows what to do. $ 70 later I felt like my hair wasn’t cut. I will not be going back.

I’ve gotten my hair cut here a few times, they do a nice job. Unlike some other places, I never got home and was then unhappy with some part of my haircut, or something was uneven — that won’t happen at this place. People are very friendly and it’s not too expensive. You can also get an appointment the day of, in my experience, which is nice if you don’t like to plan far ahead. In my opinion, if you can spare the extra money, it’s definitely worth it over a place like Super Cuts.
