No one inside and a whole 2 of us in the drive thru and the woman still didn’t know what my order was when I pulled up to the window(1 turkey sandwich, that’s all. No drink, no sides, just a sandwich). That sandwich took 15 minutes to make and the person in front of me was pulled over still waiting on their food when I left. The lady at the window was rude, the only acknowledgement we got from her was«what did you order?» and«your receipt». She shoved the bag at us and slammed her window shut. Only went her because it’s right outside of base but there are plenty of other options so I’ll go to those in the future. The sandwich was crap too. Turkey bacon and ranch was really bread, slight turkey and ranch. No bacon.

I understand that this franchise is in dire straits nationwide. The national economy, along with a stagnant, unchanging, odd and undesirable menu seem to be the culprits for the most part. I wouldn’t doubt it, if this location itself, is on its’ last legs. The Arby’s I once knew, served hot, fresh, delicious roast beef sandwiches and yummy, creamy jamocha shakes… Maybe it’s me? Maybe my taste buds have matured and moved on? I recently visited this establishment, through its’ drive thru, as I have done in the past. I really used to be an Arby’s loyalist. I really was. I honestly would like to see this location stay open due to lack of other fast food options in this area, coupled with a tad bit of sentimentality. It’s just that going through the drive thru last night, the food, its’ presentation, and the customer service just seemed like, «Aaaaaaaaahhhh, screw it!» I remember watching Snoop Dogg one time work the drive thru at an actual Arby’s on some hidden camera show, and he handed the customer their sandwich through the drive thru, unwrapped, and with his bare hands… which was hilarious… Now my experience here wasn’t this bad, or even this rude, really. It was just not, «Heads up, we got to do better! We have customers around!» Here’s what happened: I pull up to the window, to pay and receive my order. I can see the workers and the inside of the restaurant, and what I see, in all sincerity, is a LARGE McDonald’s cup, partially open, with the lid off and a straw in it, on the SAMEHEATINGTRAY on which all of the sandwiches are placed, once they are wrapped and prepared! Okay, first off, this isn’t a McDonald’s! So, I know that this has to be an employees personal drinking cup set right next(And I mean, right next!) to where my sandwiches are placed! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww! I mean, really? Really?!? Isn’t there a manager on duty? I know places, I’ve even worked at places, where a manager would have gone beserk at something so blatant and disgusting! And it was a McDONALD’S cup, no less! In the kitchen of an ARBY’S!!! I got home and my French Dips were not even toasted or even warm! They do toast French Dips at Arby’s don’t they? Either way, yuk! I haven’t given up on Arby’s and I’ll be back at some point, it just makes me sad, what has become of Arby’s and what has become of decent customer service in general. They say Arby’s is good mood food. This Arby’s just made me sad.
