Loved this place!!! You must stay here. Friendly staff (James) n the ambiance is amazing. I want to stay here forever!!! But life sucks so I must go home.

I highly recommend staying at the Fairfield Place B & B… I have stayed here twice on business trips and enjoyed the stay very much! The charming warm colorful atmosphere and antiques really get you in the mood of being in LA. There is a lot of eye candy everywhere — literally …bowls of it! The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are amazing!!!
The breakfast is to absolutely sing over!!! My first stay there the owner made homemade crossaints and last weekend we were served crepes! These were accompanied with eggs, potatoes and fruit. Hard to imagine a classier breakfast – and was very fresh… nothing was processed.
They really know hospitality here! For the cost and experience I rate this B & B as outstanding!

I loved staying here. Was in Shreveport on business and got a last-​minute deal. Such a charming, relaxing place. Maybe not best suited to business trips (the room I chose had a massive tub but no shower, Internet upstairs was a bit slow, the ironing board had seen better days) but the luxury of unwinding here after a long day was well worth those minor issues (all of which I’m sure the accommodating staff would have addressed if I’d asked, but I was too relaxed to bother). Left too early for breakfast but have heard it’s delicious.

Highly recommend this B&B. Very comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. Will be returning!

Stellar! I am a design geek. So when I walked upstairs to my room and saw a La Barge mirror in the hall, I knew I was in the right place. My bed was a huge 4 poster (from the 1800s?) and was super comfy. The availability of snacks and beverages was wonderful. And breakfast? It was so sweet that they remembered a passing conversation about my being a gluten free vegetarian. John the owner was charming and hospitable taking the time to tell stories behind his collection of antiques and having me taste test gluten free pasta. I travel a lot for a living and Fairfield Place was a wonderful respite from hotel living. It is now my only hotel in Shreveport.

Great romantic place! Only problem was the shower pressure in our room, La Villain, it was nonexistent. The breakfast was amazing! I loved walking around and looking at all the historical records in the neighborhood.

This is a wonderful place. My wife and I stayed here for our one year anniversary, and it was perfect. We felt like we had left town, and all we had done was drive 10 minutes to get away. The rooms were large and very charming. The bed was very soft and comfortable. As far as the breakfast goes, you’ll be hard pressed to get a better breakfast anywhere you go. We left with so much positive vibes. Definitely worth it. I highly recommend staying here at this place if you are coming into Shreveport or you live here and want to get away for a while. They do not allow guests to bring children so the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed.
