The food and service is usually good, but confusion over what item comes with each entrée ruined it for me. Our waiter was new, so I do not blame him for not knowing everything. My side item did not come with my meal, and I asked about it and was assured they would bring it asap. It finally arrived after ten minutes, which by that time I had eaten most of my meal. I asked to speak with a manager, who proceeded to argue with me about what comes with my entrée. You never ever do that in any business, but especially not the restaurant business where you depend on word of mouth. I asked for a menu, and showed her what came with my entrée. No apology was offered, and I received a mere fifty cent refund for having my meal ruined. Not going back for a long long time.

Have always been pleased with Logan’s. Not sure if it’s new management or what. Menu has changed. Not that impressed.

I enjoy visiting Logan’s for my steak cravings. The taste and prices are awesome. They let you throw peanut shells on the floor, but I’ve never been able to do it. lol

Have not eaten lunch here in a while and I thought a hamburger and fries sounded good. Unfortunately it sounded better than it tasted. The bun was cold and soggy and the meat was bland. The fries were thin and had a funny after taste… time to change the oil in the fryer. Note to self, don’t go to Logan’s for a hamburger and fries.

the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. the wait staff were not on top of their game. I think I got there during a shift change. the salad was excellent. fresh ingredients and good tasting dressing. the shrimp was absolutely delicious. I did not like the tartar sauce so I settled for ketchup. I am now a shrimp fan and I will go back.

Service here was very good, but not enough to redeem the quality of the food. The buttered rolls here are dynamite and I had to hold myself back from having more than two. They have daily specials which knock a few $s off the identical items featured on the std menu. I went with the $ 19.99 T-bone and its was a bit overcooked: I ordered med and got Med/Well. I let it slide, as given the low quality meat served here I would prefer to err on the side of well than rare. Still can’t knock it too much, as it was well seasoned and under $ 20. My side was a sweet potato, served with a glob of cinnamon, was overcooked but edible. It’s a decent place, given that local competition is weak, but if you have time; Salt Grass on the boardwalk is a better option.

The food here is pretty good with a variety of steaks, burgers and seafood. Bread and peanuts are free. The prices aren’t too bad and the service is usually good. The menus need to be reduced in size. Not in quantity but actual menu dimensions. They’re way too big and cumbersome. It’s a personal taste but for me it’s way too loud here. There’s TV’s on, music playing and everyone trying to talk over everyone else. Too loud.

I had the t-bone steak and baked sweet potato. My idea of a great steak is one that is seasoned so well that I won’t need steak sauce, not the case here. The steak was not outright tough but I did have to use their gigantic steak knife for the entire cut of meat. I haven’t eaten a baked sweet potato in years, but the ones my grandfather grew were so delectable, that as kids we would baked them in the hot ashes of the fireplace. I’m glad I have those memories because the one I had today was bland even with the butter and cinnamon almost tasteless. My boss did however enjoy his grilled chicken breast, and our server was great. She was very attentive and I liked her personality.

First off this place gives you a bucket of peanuts you can eat and throw on the floor which is cool BUT when I saw the process of how said peanuts come to be placed on your table I was not touching one nut in the bucket. They take the left over peanuts that people leave behind in their table buckets and pour them in a big bin in the front of the place THEN they proceed to refill new buckets for incoming customers from that bin! This is beyond gross! Who knows what people did with their hands before digging in or spitting shells back in the bucket… I can not believe they do this! Despite this my food was Ok just ok… I had the shrimp special where you can add a premium item. You get fried shrimp, fire wood shrimp skewer, rice pilaf of sorts, two sides and the premium item. I chose the fire roasted Lobster tail as my «premium item» and broccoli and«loaded» baked sweet potato(it’s topped with marshmallow). The potato was VERY good and they give you some awesome rolls. The food overall was meah, the fried shrimp were overcooked and taste old like they had been refried. The lobster was good but a little tough. The rice was very plain like white rice with tiny diced carrots. The price was good for the food($ 19.99) so I guess you pay for what you get. I was there around 9 on a Friday night

Last night my family and I ate dinner at your Shreveport LA location and had the worst dinning experiences ever. The good parts of the meal was that we walked right in at 5:30pm and the bread was hot. 1 hour later we didn’t have our food and the rest of the people around us didn’t either. Finally the food arrived and the steak was over cooked. We were too hungry to send anything back, so we ate and paid. I looked at my watch before we walked out the door and it was almost 7:30pm. We have a 5 year old and a 2.5 year old. That is way to long to get us food. They didn’t bring us our salads first and could not get the kids meals out either. The manager talked with other tables but never made it to ours. I will not go back.

Again, my last name does not end with Trump, Gates or Buffet so I have to find my steak fix around town at a price that won’t have me pawning off my valuables. This is another place that isn’t so bad price-wise. It is like so many others and it can be confusing as to which is which(Texas Roadhouse, just plain ol’ Roadhouse, and then there’s Logan’s too.) They’re really all good, just very similar, I think. I don’t go to either of these establishments very often, just because they aren’t in my neck of the woods, but I am on the e-mail list for Logan’s, so they send me time-ultra-sensitive coupons every so often… like, «You must eat here in the next 72 hours to be able to utilize this coupon or it will self-destruct in 30 seconds», or whatever… My most recent coupon, good for two days only, was buy one meal for a minimum of 12 dollars, get another meal valued at 12 bucks or less for free. My wife and I ordered the 8 oz. sirloin and she got a delicious, great-looking vegetarian Shish Kabob as one of her sides. I ordered a sweet tea, that really could’ve been sweeter for my tastes. I also ordered the mini-deserts in tiny Logan’s buckets. They were just right for the amount of sweets that I should really have… I mean, in life, do we want the actual-to-scale Mount Everest-sized ice-cream and brownie with all the fireworks dessert? Yes. Should we really eat all that… No. So, these three little shotglass-sized desserts that I actually shared with my wife, were perfect. One was cheesecake, the other this Nutter Butter chocolate mousse that rocked(love Nutter Butter-see my Dairy Queen review!), and the other was what else? Fudge Brownie with a tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream… I’m a big guy, and really, seriously, after all of the other food(don’t forget all of the complimentary, endless, shelled peanuts and delicious bread and butter also!), and even sharing the desserts with my wife, the tastes of these desserts was all I really needed, and I left quite full and satisfied from the entire meal. And in Logan’s Roadhouse, you don’t have to wear a Patrick Swayze-frosted and feathered-style mullet, but it would be über-cool if you did!

I had fish(tuna if I remember right) cooked perfectly and served on a cedar plank with sautéd veggies. But their menu is wide ranging from burgers to some healthy stuff. Bonus: when I went they had a special, two dinners for 13.99(I think it’s mon-wed). It’s an amazing deal for the quality and amount of food you get.

The first time I ever went here was on a business trip. This place is good! I liked my steak and throwing my peanut shells everywhere was kitschy. I love steakhouses that are reasonably priced with excellent cuts of meat.

Possibly the best ribs in town, good steaks, several chicken dishes, tilapia and more. Two for one margaritas, two for one well drinks and $ 2.9920oz draft beer every day from 3−6pm and 9pm-close. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a quiet restarant because they’re usually quite loud.
