Terrible experience – my calzone was given to another patron, everyone in my party was completely finished eating long before the 45 minutes it took for my food to finally come, then no compensation offered. I was finally given 40% «employee discount» off the food only, not my beverage. Not a one-time fluke either, almost the exact same thing happened last time too. There won’t be a third time because I’m never coming back here again!

This is not a pizza place. This is a sports bar. Unfortunately, the staff is 16 year old kids. Poor service, poor food. Even if the prices were reasonable, which they’re not, the food is no more then bar food. Don’t get to excited about this place. There’s better selections around.

Mainly a fan of the beer options here, but the food isn’t bad either. Typical pizza joint. Looking at the pictures, you can see the style pizza they make… Some are fans, some aren’t. But was an enjoyable experience overall.

What a bunch of pricks: we were literally in the midst of winning trivia two rounds when they called us out for one grandmother using her phone to show a picture to the table. She held it up for everyone to see and we still got disqualified. Rude other patrons all cheered. Grow up, people, it’s a family game for fun. Most importantly: Lasagna tastes like shit. Pizza ok but overpriced. Bunch of inept teenagers running it. Won’t be back.

This is not my favorite pizza joint. It does make one of my favorite pizzas though. The 1st time I went there I arrived with anxious anticipation because I had been hearing that they make THE best pizza available in the area. To share in my virgin experience I invited a few others to meet me there. Being the wickedly intelligent chap that I am, I had an ulterior motive for inviting others to join me besides the enjoyment of their company. It would allow me to try more varieties of their pizza on the same visit by creating a mini buffet around me. Of course for this plan to work well for you, you will need to masterfully offer menu suggestions and do some gentle coaxing nudging, and prodding of your other meal dates. Included in our group was my elderly mother-in-law who is strong-willed and set in her ways and must think that everything she does is by her own idea so plan your strategies accordingly for the highest success. Of all our pizza choices, the Angry Pig was the clear winner. I was making a pig of myself shoveling it into my mouth, and yes, I must admit that whenever someone else reached for a slice of it I did feel a small twinge of anger, ever so slight but it was there. It’s not something I am proud of but I know that the 1st step to recovery is to admit its presence, so there it is, out in the open. Please try not to judge me harshly before you have tasted a slice of their Angry Pig pizza. The negatives: When we arrived there were not very many people there and the ambiance wasn’t too bad even though there was a lot of background noise. The one plus was that I had no need to worry about disturbing others if my 2 and 4 year old kiddos started getting loud. Service was decent before it became more busy. What I was not yet aware of is that a game would be starting soon on the big screen TV’s and before we had completed our meal, the place was PACKED and chaotic. Picture my wife taking our kids to the bathroom as we are leaving and me helping my mother-in-law out to the car on one arm and carrying the box of leftover pizza along with my little princess’s pink backpack in the other hand. I suspect that the big jock that caught sight of me(with my pink purse backpack) and eyeing me with surprised humor in his face was Billy Joe J. for those of you who know who I am referring to.(j/k Billy Joe) The pizzas I get from Rotolo’s simple aren’t consistent. The quality varies each time with greatly varying amounts of the various toppings, sometimes with hardly any of a particular topping. Today I ordered a calzone and I will never get another from here. The dough was raw in places and most of it went into the garbage as the kids refused to eat it. Nothing about it tasted good. I order pickup only now There is online ordering for Rotolo’s Pizzeria but it’s not available for the Shreveport or Bossier locations for some reason and the employees I ask about it know nothing about it ever becoming available.

My favorite place to go on military Monday’s. They offer 25% off. Great pizza, salad, awesome garlic Parmesan wings, good sandwiches, not too crazy about the calzone, and great brownie bites. Excellent variety of beer and knowledgeable bar staff. They also will let you sample any draft beer. Good for family or game night.

HEY! I went to LSU in BR and lived in Tigerland. If I wanted pizza, I would go to the Rotolo’s up the street. It was a really great place to get a pie. I knew the owner there and happy to see he expanded all the way up here! That is terrific! Go get a pie from Rotolo’s.

I’ve tried giving this place chance after chance after chance. I don’t get the hype. The place has horrible pizza! After 5 minutes the warm deliciousness changes to a cold nasty mess. If you want great pizza, go down the road to Franks!

This place can’t seem to figure out what it wants to be: A cool pizzeria? A sports bar? A kid’s arcade and ice cream parlor? All those things are rolled into one at Rotolo’s. The pizza has fresh ingredients, but the sauce is sweet, which is not my favorite taste on a pizza. Service was prompt and friendly.

I was in shreveport today and my kid wanted pizza. I looked up the best on Unilocal and Rotolo’s came up. So, we went there. My son got the four cheese pizza and he loved it. I tried a bite and it was amazing. I got the Italian Club calzone and it was the best calzone I’ve ever eaten. I would highly recommend them again. The server was nice and attentive and they made my kid laugh and talked to him for a bit.

Poor, poor service. I went here a few months ago for the World Cup. The waitress asked what I wanted to drink, and I asked what beers they had. The waitress replied, «Sir, we have over 30 beers.» Didn’t offer a beer menu, didn’t offer any suggestions, and her tone was way out of line. When it came to order the entrée, I asked for the Angry Pig. I was literally given a cheese pizza with jalapenos. No sausage, bacon, or BBQ sauce. It was pretty ridiculous, and if it weren’t so crowded/loud and the service painfully slow(I’m not even sure I saw my waitress again, and she wasn’t the one who delivered my pizza), I would have complained. My second time here, it was at the suggestion of a friend. The service was friendlier, the Angry Pig actually came with the toppings it was supposed to, but they completely messed up my friend’s order; however, they were nice about it. Unfortunately the service was still a little slow. The place is relatively loud because it likes to pretend it is a sports bar, so the atmosphere is what you expect.

EXCELLENT pizza! I had an 8″ supreme and enjoyed every bite. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in Shreveport. So why not five stars, you ask? It’s super-extra-loud and our server was a little rude. And I got charged for a beer I didn’t order. And their wine selection is seriously lacking though the beer selection is extensive. A few things, actually. All of that said, fantastic food makes up for a lot. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Eating out is a costly endeavor so I usually have to take just one or two kids so I don’t break the bank. Even stopping for fast food is expensive for a family of five. Since my two older girls are at camp, my five year old and I decided to share a pizza. We can never decide what to top our pizzas with, so she got her cheese and I had pepperoni and salami on my half. Rotolo’s never disappoints. The crust has a nice crunchy chewiness. The cheese is evenly distributed. It’s an all around good pie. As far as Shreveport goes, this is top tier pizza, but in comparison to the pizza I’ve had in my life, it falls a bit short. I do anticipate many visits in the coming years because it is good pizza.

This is a really loud(REALLYLOUDGETIT?), really busy sports bar with decent ultra high calorie sports bar food. Pizzas and calzones are edible. The baked chicken wings weren’t so great. Caesar salad is just some chopped romaine with SYSCO food systems dressing. The warm fudge brownie and ice cream was as good as it sounds. They also have Italian gelato. But for the most part this is a production food place so don’t go with visions of anything«homemade, unique or gourmet»…except for the BEER. 31 taps. I’d go there again just for that. Pick of the Day: Clown Shoes Galactica — A hoppy American Double Imperial IPA weighing in at 8.0% ABV. Mind expanding. Also, despite the crowds, we had great service from Shay and his back up dudes(who seemed like they were right out of a Bill & Ted movie).

After making my first visit to Rotolo’s Pizzeria, I came away pleasantly surprised. The location is ideal, for those shopping in the newer, more hip area of Shreveport. The location was well lit, and felt like a cozier, more family friendly version of BWW. We ordered Cheese/Combination pizzas… and the Greek salad. All were delivered with prompt, friendly service… The pizza were of the deeper dish variety… which is good for filling personal-sized portions. I’d like if they offered a thinner bake of the combo pizzas. That said, the quality was pretty good and it’s probably the best pizza I’ve had in Shreveport. Also, they have local brews on tap +++ I recommend Rotolo’s for locals and visitors alike.
