I’ve been to several events at Savoie’s in the past year including a 50th Anniversary Party, Engagement Party, and Wedding Reception and all have been beautifully handled. The venue is quite attractive inside and has a lovely surprise courtyard that reminds me of Pat O’Brians in New Orleans. The food is generous and delicious, and the staff all bend over backward to accommodate every request. The events I attended utilized two rooms — one for the buffet tables and one for tables & dancing. The restrooms were quite attractive and clean. Plenty of parking and not far to walk — Pretty facility, great food and service — couldn’t think of a thing to add! I will keep it in mind if I get married again myself!

Go here when the crawfish are in season Jan/Feb — May/Jun. Damn good appetizers and a great menu. If ur anti-seafood they’re are a few chicken options. But the seafood is king!

Came here for the reception of a wedding I went to. My BF and I had been so busy with the wedding and rehearsals that he hadn’t had the chance to take me to get local food so I was stoked when I heard we were eating cajun food food for dinner. The food was served buffet style with little meat sandwiches, chicken strips, fried catfish, fruit salad, caesar salad, stuffed potatoes, green beans, and crawfish cakes. the plates they provided were TINY about the size of my hand spread out. It wasn’t very kid friendly. The chicken strips were spicy and my BF’s niece and nephew ended up only eating fruit and salad. They also served this pink drink that just tasted like peach flavored water. The service was great, the waiters were very attentive and kept the buffet fully stocked and cleared out tables constantly. Overall this place was 100x better than the dinner we had a Giuseppe’s the night before. The area is somewhat small. the main room only sat 50ish people? and the rest of the guests had to sit in the separate room. I sat in the main room with the wedding party but my BF’s family missed out on a lot of the reception because they were eating in the other room.
