I went today, 2÷13÷2015, and this is my experience: I arrived shortly after 11 am. I was asked to sign my first and last name in the register. Yes, I could have given more information to enroll in their birthday club, but I didnt. I was called in to the back and the stylist asked what I wanted. Because it was my first time, I was offered the free massage and hot towels, but I declined. ” how do you want it cut?” ” a fingers width.” ” all around?” «Yes» And the cutting began. Using scissors. And not a clipper. She tried small talk, and truth be told, I’m not into it. Seeming to sense that, she quit and did a great job on the haircut. At the end, she asked if it was short enough. I did want it shorter, so she did it. Though I’m not used to paying this much for a haircut, I was happy. Very professional. Very nice. No attitude.

I was here 4 months ago and walked out at 5 pm when 1 of the 2 stylists went on a dinner break while EIGHT of us waited. Today, only ONE stylist here on a Saturday morning. Management at this place needs to be FIRED. Nobody can be this inept if they cared.

I moved to town recently, and needed a cut badly. Having previous positive experience with Sport Clips I decided it would be my first stop in my new home. Boy, was that a mistake on my part. To some small degree, the staff acted like I was lucky to be in their presence. They ask for personal information before they’ll place you on a wait list, then set about acting hurried and disinterested in your needs. I don’t recall who«got» my business — but I do recall that I received a less than stellar crew cut from a person who didn’t treat me as a valued customer. It’s as if the tight uniform was restricting the stylists ability to provide caring service. Felt like I was in a mill — and once I was«good enough» they’d ship me. I didn’t get a quality cut, the pace was hurried, the staff seemed disinterested and stressed by the volume of customers. Didn’t seem to me like I amounted to much more than«a number» here. Even with the«free» upgrade to the«ultimate» package including hot and cold facial towels, shampoo and neck massage. It sounded great, but felt disingenuous. Top it off with a mediocre(at best) haircut, and well, you’re reading the result. This place wasn’t worth the impact crater left in my wallet in spite of the free extras for a first-timer. Skip it, and check out my other reviews for a better way to spend your hard earned haircut dollar in SBC.
