I live and Boston and will always make the trip to Shrewsbury to work with Mark and the rest of Sachs Jewelers. Consummate professionals, and always beyond helpful with your purchases. They understand it’s a big investment, and take the time to go over everything.

I went to Sach’s for my wedding band– my engagement ring was my husband’s great grandmother’s so I was anxious to find something equally classic and simple. Sach’s fulfilled all my expectations. If you go in there ASKFORJULIA. She is the most polite, kind and accommodating associate I have ever encountered. Julia spent nearly an hour with me and my husband on the first visit, flipping through book after book. She steered my in the right direction of getting a thin and beautiful band with diamonds. Best yet, she got us almost a $ 100 discount off the retail price. Although it was a special order, it came in in less than a week and the sizing was included(which only took a few days.) I was so happy Julia helped us out, she is really remarkable at her job. The other associates seemed a bit unprofessional ex. sucking on lollipops at the register, publicly debating pricing/deposit issues in front of customers. And their hours are a little strange– Friday and Saturday they’re only open until 5. Other than that I have no complaints! Keep up the good work!

Steven did a great job listening to what I wanted and ended up finding me THE ring. Customer service was top notch. I was able to have my ring sized on property in under 24 hours and received a lifetime warranty free of charge. This was my second purchase at Sachs and I highly recommend them. Much better experience than a mall store.

I’ve used Sachs several times to replace batteries in various watches. On a couple of occasions the batteries died in less than 12 months. I was told it could be the watch, not the battery, but subsequent batteries have been fine. I can only assume that they had a bad/old batch of batteries. Also, two of my watches gave me problems with condensation inside the crystal after Sachs replaced the battery. In both cases the watches had never done this before. The last time I went in, to have them check why my Tissot was doing this since they replaced the battery, they admitted that the gasket was incorrectly placed. I would not recommend this jeweler for watch service/repair.

Stop in and meet Karl Sachs. He and his family have run this business for years. It’s a great store with an amazing inventory.

The first time I went to Sachs was to sell a broken gold chain. I was offered a higher rate of exchange if I took it in store credit, so I ended up doing that. Service was friendly and quick, much easier than at other locations. Since everyone else on the planet seems to be into Pandora jewelry, I decided to spend my credit on Christmas presents. I picked up a charm for my sister using my credit, and while I was there, the girl who waited on me walked me through the whole bracelet so when I came back with my dad, we’d know what we were looking for. When we went back on a Saturday morning, it was already really busy, but the salespeople were all really attentive and nice. They also gift wrap for you, which was fabulous. Pricing is the same no matter where you go for Pandora, so the customer service is really what makes the decision on where to shop. Sachs will be my go-to stop for Pandora gifts!

my girlfriend and I are recently engaged. I bought a ring from another jewelery, but needed to get it a simple appraisal. We also wanted to find a place closer to home that may be good place to purchase our wedding bands. We took advice from friend who recommended Sach’s. So I called them on a Saturday morning, and spoke to young lady, who said appraisals would be no problem, and while we waited we could shop for bands. So we headed down early in morning. We get to there office and let them know we whre there for an appraisal and to look at bands while we waited. As soon as I said that, the appraiser started drilling me on who said that appraisal would be done while I waited, I explained I had called earlier that morning and that is what I was told. After the barash of questions, I was told we had to leave ring with them until at least Tuesday. We reluctantly agreed as we needed done asap. So I called them on Tuesday as I never heard from them(in which they said they would call me when appraisal was done on Tuesday) I never heard from them so I called them on Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm, they had told me it was done earlier that morning. So I left work immediately, but could not make it there in time to pick it up. If I had been told it was done earlier i would of left work earlier to pick it up. So the next day on Wednesday morning, I decided to go to work late and just go run, pick up ring and appraisal then jet to work in Boston. I get there in morning right when they open. Figured it would take like 10 minutes tops. I was given all my paperwork that i had left for them, and told to have a good day. I started laughing and the women behind counter started asking why. I had said I need the ring back too. She had said ‘you didn’t leave ring with us” I responded if I didn’t leave ring how did you clean it and appraise it? She then realized they had ring. Well they could not find it. I stood there for over 2 hours while they where searching rooms, envelopes, folders, everywhere. They where even on all fours looking on the floor, trashbins. I could not believe the unprofessionalism, of staff and store. While I was sitting there as they where looking for this ring, they kept saying ‘don’t worry it has to be here somewhere, I bet you never are going to come here again’ I have to say, she could not of said it any better. I would never go back, eventhough we loved two of the bands there. After over two hours(in wich now I was two hours late for work) they had found it under some paperwork on someones desk in the back. I could not believe at all the experience I had. If you go here, good luck.
