we went here to add a line and the rep here pressured me to give him my social security #. so I said: sorry we don’t give out social security number staff: but we can’t access your account without your social security number(LIE!!! OMG) so I said: but we didn’t even give out social security number to create our account in the first place staff: okay then can I have your phone number? major shadiness #1…okay maybe you should have asked for our phone number in the first place if I already told you that we don’t give out social security number? the guy clearly knew social security number was not required to access my account but he lied to me by saying«we can’t access your account without your social security number». sorry… obviously I am educated and know what I am doing. please be careful to not give out unnecessary information here. you never know who is selling your personal information to have your identity sold for fraud. also, I already had unused T-mobile SIM card that came with a new phone I purchased from HSN. but the same guy insisted that I need to pay activation fee for opening a new line to our family account. Just as I thought, when I looked at the receipt I saw that I got charged 10.00 for SIM not as activation fee.(should I place this under shadiness #2?)For the record, I never bought/taken home new SIM card from them that day. I used the SIM card that came with my phone that I bought from HSN.

Came to this store to buy a new phone but the staff here has a an attitude. They act really nice around manager but once manager is gone just forget about the service. In my experience almost 90% of T-mobile just are just bad and need to be closed or employees need training, the attitude and the tattoos does not project professional behavior at all. The only decent store I found is the Framingham one. They really go out of there way to help you. T-mobile help line has been consistently good too and the service has worked well for me unfortunately the store experience is just complete opposite.

Recently my partner and I switched to T-Mobile and had a wonderful experience working with Ray at the Shrewsbury store. We had gotten new phones 2-days before and the numbers were not transferring, due to a data entry error at another store. Ray took care of this and switched our SIM cards, even though we arrived right as the store was closing. He then encouraged us to call him the next day, if our numbers were delayed. One of the numbers was delayed, so we recalled. In ten minutes, Ray spoke to the central help center and resolved the issue. He really went above and beyond to provide great customer service. Overall, «shout out» to Ray.

This store is a pillar of efficiency. I was in and out in 10 minutes(and it was BUSY). The missing star is due to the fact that there is no «take a number» system in place when every single associate is occupied, but they seemed to be handling the volume well. The store itself is clean and well kept, and there is even a kiosk where you can pay your bill. Cash/credit accepted.
