i have lived here for about 6 months now. i still have another 6 months to go.(huge regret) the staff here are okay. they aren’t horrible like some reviews had stated. cut the maintenance is horrible. when we first moved in there was a mold issue that i had to constantly bring up for them to fix it. and that’s when i seen how bad it really was. the gates are broken all the tiitme, the pool is a small but nice pool. but the light has been broken for almost 2 months now! the spa has been broken over 3 months now. they seem to present it as its never going to be fixed. you can’t hang towels outside. and i understand they don’t want people hanging up all their underwear and stuff outside because it looks trashy. but towels are hard to dry inside. the laundry rooms are always getting worked on, or getting locked up due to someone messing something up. this place has its ups and downs. but they are horrible at keeping up with the place. they just painted the buildings recently and that’s all this place really gots going for it. the cabinets are the cheapest wood i have ever seen in my life. and they just won’t put anymore money into this place. this was my first time getting a appt. since being here i have looked around alot. and have realized you can get a WAYBETTERDEALFORYOURMONEY. please don’t make a regret like i did.

my husband found the sister apartments to sierra charles(sierra carmichael) when we were stationed in korea. we didnt want to wait until we pcs’d to AZ so he began the paperwork over the internet. the rent was rather low around that time(may 2010) roughly 500. we opted for the furnished studio apt, since it’s just us and we didnt have much furniture. moving on to the negatives: to have a pet, it’s expensive as hell. past management was relieved for embezzlement. the furniture is pretty shoddy. but then again, it’s furniture. the nightstand is basically falling apart. it’s nice if you have NOTHING but it’s nothing to write home about. the walls are paper thin. lot’s of druggies around here. when my husband chose this place, he chose it b/c reviews said it was a safe neighborhood with low drug crimes. THISISNOTTHECASE. in the six months here, i know of meth heads, coke heads and of course, lots of weed. if that matters to you, then take it from personal experience. also, during the summer the cops were almost always here. there’s some pretty trashy people who frequent this place. oh, and the gates are almost always broken or open, so they’re pretty redundant. lots of potholes, too. the current management is HORRIBLE. i believe she just recently started working here but she is rude, has no social relation skills whatsoever. she has a nasty habit of talking trash about her predecessor which is highly unprofessional. the rent is liable to go up 100 bucks every three months. for a STUDIO apartment, for about 4 months, we were paying 150 bucks for electricity. ONEHUNDREDANDFIFTYDOLLARSFOR A STUDIOAPARTMENT. i am originally from southern california and even in the 2 story, 3 bedroom house i lived in, we never hit past 110 $ and that was in the hottest summer. RIDICULOUS. also, the laundry room washer and dryers are not the greatest. the pros are the maintenance staff are wonderful. they’re nice and amicable. always have a smile on their face and say hello. they’re always willing to help and get the job done quick.(im not talking about anybody who works in the main office. those people are rude.) a couple other points. there’s lot of parking but no cameras or lights. my husband rear tail light was busted out by what we think were kids riding scooters late at night. there was blood all over the side of his truck. the maintenance guys keep the place looking clean. the pool is usually great during the summer. i think a lot of people sneak into the pool or something, there were usually random dirty looking people swimming during the summer. that was pretty gross. the hot tub rarely worked right– either too hot or didnt bubble up.

Been in these apartments for about 4 years total. Lived here, moved out and then eventually came back if that tells you anything. Gated community, beautiful landscaping, some apartments have a decent view of mountains. Granted, they also have a decent view of the nearby trailer park — but as long as you continue looking up… you hardly notice it. Great management and friendly staff! I highly recommend these apartments for anyone looking for either a short-term or long-term stay.
