Horrible. I ordered a chicken bowl and what I got was an awful and spoiled bowl of bad quality Dark meat chicken with a piece of broccoli a few pieces of carrot and a slice of mushy zucchini over overlooked mushy rice. I dumped the whole crappy bowl right into the garbage. Absolutely embarrassing that they could serve this dog food to anyone.

I love this place. When I was in the pharmaceutical business, I used to order from them all the time and all my clients loved this place. They are simply amazing with all their variety of foods. Today, I ordered Chinese Chicken Salad for 5 people for our Halloween party at #Coldwell Banker Coastal Alliance. And true to form, it looks GREAT! I know it is going to be tasty. Thank you to the staff for remembering from years past. It is always nice to be remembered.

Asked for a ceasar salad and got iceberg lettuce with mixed spring leaves on it, carrots, tomatoes, and cucumber, with a side of ceasar dressing. I told the lady ordered a Cesar salad which is made using Romaine lettuce not what I got. She said I didn’t order it that way and just starred at me like it was my fault. She spoke with the other Asian lady in whatever language they speak and reiterated that I should special order it with romaine lettuce only next time. I just walked away and ate it like: well what else can I do since they didn’t seem to care. Terrible service. Always terrible service idk why. Just pass on this place.

Great sub shop with friendly staff. The food is not expensive and you get a lot for what you pay for

Customer service is just plain out rude… This is the second time I’ve been here Food is mediocre… I get it, its a small business so emphasize should be customer service since youre paying for it… Recommendation– just got to subway down the street.

Great subs and smoothies for a little sandwich shop. They have hot and cold subs, sandwiches, breakfast, teriyaki bowls, beagles, soups all fresh at a decent price too… it’s so hard to eat healthy out, but they make it easy :-)

I work around the corner from Champs. I’ve been going there now for three years. I love the turkey avocado sub. The dressing they put on it is so good. Personally my husband likes when I order it and then let it soak into the bread for a few hours before eating it. It just tastes better. Also if you eat in, the people there have always been nice enough to give me the wifi code.

I’ve been here a few times with co-workers for lunch. What a bad experience, avocado has been beyond rubber like and the salmon has been over cooked to the point where it’s not pleasant to eat. The service is decent. I’ve don’t remember ever giving a bad review but this place has really disappointed us every time.

Turkey avacado sandwich was good the onions and pickles are all cut up and lettuce is shredded. You get a slice of pickle and 2 slices of carrots. Very nice people too.

First time here! Had the pastrami and avocado turkey club sandwiches today. We also ordered the piña colada smoothie which was so refreshing! We also ordered a side of macaroni salad(large) which could have been enough for one, and isn’t very big. Other then the portion size it was very creamy and good! Very nice staff!

If I could I would give it a — 5 … first time I went to this place was months ago and I had a bad experience but thought I would give it a second chance. BIGMISTAKE! first of the rude cashier who acts like he owns the place can’t give u any recommendation on what to order. 2Nd I wanted a half sandwich with soup of the day and he wants to charge ·50 cents for everything avocado, cheese, the bread. geesh.. He threw the receipt at me and was flirting with the girl behind me the whole time.. When we ask about the combo that would’ve made a better deal from 6.95 to 7.50 he stArts adding all these ridiculous charges that make no sense and comes up with the difference is $ 3. WHAT?!. I finally get my food and my cream of broccoli looks more like diluted milk with 2 tiny pieces of broccoli floating around. The taste i cannot even describe but it was disgusting. The sandwich looked horrible 2 tiny pieces of avocado and hardly any turkey. I complained but they all looked at me like I was talking another language. worst $ 20 spent for lunch that left me hungry and upset. as I was walking out I looked for their letter rating that should be displayed at the front door but it was no where to be found! Shouldve known! never going there again.

My Pastrami on squaw bread was good! Extra mustard, extra pickles, hold the lettuce. Nice and hot. It almost taste like a grilled cheese with extra pastrami added. I will be coming back to this joint.

Champs is a great little deli in an industrial area of Signal Hill… because of their location, their hours are limited and they are closed on weekends… but they do open early and serve a great breakfast(which is all I have ever gone in for). But I have seen their burgers and they look and smell great. My co workers call in their orders all the time and head down to pick up their bounty. All in all, its a nice clean place. Prices are a little higher than other similar establishments, BUT they are the only place nearby to get some grub, so they kinda have a little niche.

Easy to miss along Willow in Long Beach. However, if you DO manage to find yourself at this non-descript sandwich deli/café/restaurant, you might be treated to a home-style sandwich like Mom used to make. Had a nice club sandwich with Pumpernickel bread, and it was delish. I might have them toast the bread next time for some heavenly crunchiness— Definitely making a return trip! Recommended!

Of course I had to try the nearby Deli that’s 2 min from my job(literally) They have a huge menu… salads, subs, teriyaki bowls, sandwiches, cheeseburgers, pastas, meatballs, desserts, chips, breakfast omelettes, etc. I was little upset they didn’t have donuts, pizza, and some mexican food Added to their selection! Dammit! I guess overall it’s chill… obviously it’s not mainstream chain and I like that the food seems to be made there and on the spot. It’s ran by a few Asian ladies and yes they are very stingy with their supplies. I ordered a ½ sandwich and chick noodle soup 1st time I went and they were like«you want cheese» I said sure. ok .50 cents. I said ok. then she goes on to ask if I wanted avocado… I said sure .50 cents… then asks if I want bacon I was like no thanks… surprisingly she didn’t ask if I wanted to add some bread for 50 more cents too… it’s one of those where they make it sound yummy and make all the green bills off the .50 cent charges… ya feel me? haha today I had a teriyaki bowl… the menu said $ 5.50 add a side salad for a $ 1 hmmm sure I’ll take that can I also add that $ 1 side salad pls. oh no it’s $ 1.50.I was like your menu says $ 1…she’s like«oh no that’s not right, it’s wrong» wow really? haha I was like sure I’ll take it… wait is the dressing included… hmmm how about a fork and napkin? Just wondering ;) I think this was the best part… I didn’t finish the good sized bowl they gave me… the plate ripped on the side… so I was like cool I can eat this later… I go up and ask her for a to-go-bowl…nope I get a mini to go box. I’m like oh no it wont’ fit there… she’s like why? ummm because I couldnt’ finish my food that’s why… she’s like one second pls. Consults with the other lady in their language… she comes up to me so now both of them are giving me the crazy look b/c I want a bowl… ummm it’s ok a box will do I tell them… so they look at each other gave each other some«eye-code» and I got the box… DUDE really? write it off on your taxes as a loss! Fuuuuggggggh Lol

I went here for lunch today after reading the reviews. This place is not too pricey. Has good food and great service. I was in for an early lunch, so there were people there still ordering breakfast. From what I saw the omelettes looked real good. The pastrami sandwich I had was nice and warm. The bread was soft and fresh. Probably one of the best macoroni salads I’ve ever had. The dining area is pretty big. The tables were clean and spaced amply. All in all the great place for lunch. Whether you work in the area or not. Check this spot out.
