Great traditional ethiopian food, great service. Awesome family atmosphere. Ask for the dry tibs (beef sautéed with vegetables) and you will not be disappointed! If you are vegetarian there are plenty of options to choose from as well.

Tried this brand new place yesterday. They were open after the Blizzard, and located only a couple of blocks from where we live. We were the only folks eating there at the time (around 2 pm), although there were people coming in for carry out.
The food was excellent, especially the homemade cheese (Ayib)! Our server was very nice and gave us an extra helping of it for free :) We’ve eaten at pretty much all of the Ethiopian restaurants in Silver Spring, and this rates up there with Bete, our other favorite. The atmosphere is spare but modern and comfortable, and there is an option for sharing one platter or getting 2 plates. We opted to share, and got the gomen with beef and alicha wot. They were both terrific, and the injera was very good (although we usually like it a little more sour). All in all, a wonderful new addition to the Ethiopian dining scene! Keep up the good work :)
