Extra Space Storage

So, my girlfriend rented 3 units from 3 different local storage facilities. It’s never a good experience, and avoid storage if possible. However, some units are bearable, and some are not. This was, by wide margin, the worst.
1) The staff consisted of two people, who possibly live in the units. The one was decent, the other was rude and off putting. She should not be allowed to interact with people under any circumstance, especially in a business where a tragic occurrence frequently compels its need.
2) The stored items were full of water, mold, and mouse turds. The devil lady from the first point insisted that we must have stored our electronics full of water, because she had a contract that says its the renters fault if the roof leaks, or mice infest the units.
3) This business has all the aura of a seedy check cashing place. They will absolutely sell your moldy and rodent-​eaten valuables to whoever is dumb enough to buy them.
Bottom line: Storing items here should be avoided at all costs unless you want valuables ruined and sold off by the devil herself. I also recommend avoiding the auctions due to the high likelihood of mold, mouse droppings, and water damage within units. The unit I just cleaned out was top floor! Run as fast as you can!

Celso was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated this since I have never rented a storage space before. I felt I understood how everything worked and was never pushed to make any decisions. Celso took his time and even helped showi me the easiest way to access my particular unit. The whole place was very clean and neat. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. I shopped around online and they also had the lowest rates.

Great experience! Signed up online, then showed up on Saturday. It only took 15 minutes to fill out the paperwork, and I had my keys and a bunch of boxes for packing. Courteous and quick, that’s what matters to me, and they delivered.

The terms of agreement at this facility are subject to change at any time, as stated in #7 of the contract. My rate increased by $ 10 a month with no notification to me. When I called the office to inquire about it, they referred me to the contract and #7 which clearly states they can change it whenever they feel like it. Poor business practice! They could have at least sent me a notice in the mail to give me a heads up!
