Peruvian Country Chicken

I ordered some delivery and the food was delicious. They packed the food really well so everything stayed warm when it got to me. I enjoyed the food a lot. You can feel the fresh ingredients.

Very inexpensive and tasty.
Much better than previous incarnations at same location.
Got delivery, forgot to ask for green and white sauces but delivery brought them anyway.
The white meat was super moist and tender while the skin was nice and crispy with good spices.

Have never been to the place but we order from Seamless ALL the time. Chicken is amazing and the lomo is my favorite. Delivery time on Seamless is set for 60 – 75 mins but they usually deliver in under 30 – 45, which is great because that’s how long it takes me to get to my door from the metro. Their beans are mehh, which is the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars. Still highly recommended.

I remember when this place first opened up, before it closed and reopened. It was really good, the chicken was really nicely cooked and the sides were good as well. This past time I ordered food it was sub par. There are much better Peruvian chicken places in the area but in a pinch, I’d order from here.

One late morning Sunday, I was getting my pet groomed nearby, and I needed to stick around since I live pretty far away. Seeing that it was lunch time and I was going to be hanging out in that area for a while, I decided to go and grab some food. There was your usual Chipotle, Subway, Starbucks, etc. across the street, but a few doors down was a Peruvian restaurant that looked pretty interesting, so I decided to give it a whirl.
It’s a small place with maybe 10 tables, and was pretty quiet at that time of day, so I had the whole place to myself. I placed my order (¼ chicken, rice and beans, and fried plantains) and sat down. I was surprised at how quickly my order came out, seeing that I heard them actually chopping and freshly cooking the chicken.
So, to the actual critical part: the food was great, and I was not disappointed. It made me a little upset that I couldn’t include it in my R.R.R. (regular restaurant rotation) since I live so far away.
It’s not the fanciest restaurant you will ever go to, but for the price and the amount of food you get, it’s definitely worth a shot.

Very good food and the delivery was fast! Corn tortillas were fresh and hot. I got the steak with onions and tomatoes on top of French fries and a side of rice. Very tender and flavorful. One thing I didn’t like was that their horchata came in a can and tasted watered down. It wasn’t good. And the cheesecake needs like some chocolate sauce or some whipped cream on top. Good, but plain. Will order again.

Man. It ain’t all that. They do give you a lot of food but the place was dingy, they took forever to bring the food out, 20 minutes. The place was half empty. We walked in and ordered right away, 20 minutes later was way too long. The food wasn’t all that either. I guess the price for two was ok given all the food they shell out ($ 27). Pass.

Gave this place a second chance and it was another big disappointment. Chicken was not fresh or warm and rice was soggy. Portions were very small. With El Pollo Rico right up the road there’s no reason to go here

Delicious chicken, and can’t go wrong with the platanos. Ridiculously cheap. Oddly seems to be a hidden gem as there is usually no line. Might take 6 min or so to prepare order. Ideal to take to go, not so much for dine-​in. Highly recommend.

Love that they deliver 3 – 4 miles away via Foodler. Peurvian chicken is always awesome and this was no exception! Two sour notes: online ordering doesn’t allow multiple orders of the same side if you opt for a full chicken with eight sides. Also, they swapped one of our sides with something else.

Fast, friendly, and the food is amazing. It really is an incredible deal for a whole chicken and two sides. I have to side with Carolyn S. The coleslaw is awesome. I also make sure I get an order of yuca and an order of platanos. I love Peruvian Country Chicken!

GREAT take-​home place for chicken and side dishes! This is my go-​to favorite in Four Corners.
Chicken is well spiced and JUICEY! Coleslaw is deelish –I always order two. The beans are truly beautiful orbs of goodness. Best beans I’ve had in the area. And the rice is perfectly steamed with butter.
Prices are incredible. You can get a whole chicken and four sides for under $ 20. Especially handy for an impromptu take-​home dinner with friends.
Used to be known as Kenny’s, but new owners (about a year ago) changed the name and upgraded the food and the atmosphere. Don’t plan to eat-​in unless you love red-​checked everything. Best to take home hot delicious food you’re happy to serve at your place.

Great place, good food. The service is wonderful! I eat here at least once a week. The Peruvian Chicken is my favorite.

It is a sad sad day in my life. My beloved empanadas have been changed. I’m sure people will like them still, but the original was perfect and I can’t betray its memory. Scratch this place off the list.

This place is right around the corner from my house. The chicken is tasty and the service is reasonably quick. Good if you are hungry and either don’t feel like cooking or just feel the need for bird. Sides are pretty standard but still great.

Though there are tables, this is not a place for dining in. The 4^th star is for the food. Excellent chicken, ditto the plaintains, mac n cheese, cole slaw. We’d spur of moment decided to picnic before biking a nearby trail. Service was friendly, fast, and the price is right. Took it to a table next to the trail for a terrific Saturday pic nic. We live nearby and will definitely return when we want Peruvian chicken.

The looks of the restaurant may not be the best, but the food is delicious! They service is very friendly and the owners are really nice to talk to. I recommend anyone who likes authentic Peruvian food to eat here!

Wanted to try Peruvian chicken for the first time. It was ok, but they advertise that they cook fresh chicken every 40 minutes until 8:30 P.M. and that was not the case when I went The coal oven looked like it had been out for hrs and the place itself is quite grimey. Did not want to try any of their side dishes after looking at their prep area.

Everybody needs a good chicken place, right? This is mine! Succulent, flavorful chicken with sides of plantains and black beans & rice (both better than the yucca fries) equals a helluva takeout meal. Can’t eat here as often as I’d like, since I’d rather not clog an artery, but Kenny’s is definitely a fabulous guilty pleasure.
There’s a few seats inside, but I’ve never had any desire to eat in, and I rarely see anyone else choosing to do so either. I don’t really even love being inside just waiting for my food, but once I get the stuff home and on a plate, life is friggin’ sweet.
