I stopped in for lunch. As their name suggests, their menu is limited to a slieu of burgers, with fries and shakes. Because they are gourmet burgers, the price starts around $ 8. They do have a military discount! Their shakes and fries are tasty, too. They offer sweet potato fries for a small surcharge. Along with the traditional chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry shakes, they have PB&J and Saffron!(What’s Saffron? A spice originally from Greece). In the shake, it tastes like a holiday cookie; similar to a vanilla bean. Definitely worth trying — even though it’s their most expensive shake. I chose to build my own burger — starting around $ 9, or get a double patty for $ 12, then I upgraded to sweet potato fries, and added the medium Saffron shake. Including my military discount + tip, my lunch was $ 20. But it was a very tasty burger and shake. The fries weren’t too bad, but weren’t the best part of the meal. I plan on coming back to Groovy Burger!

Burgers were«ok» they claim its quality beef, but my boyfriend and I both had bad stomachs the rest of the night. The food is wayyy overpriced and on top of that they overcharged me $ 5 I seen on my bank statement about 20 minutes after we left. When I went back in the store to solve the situation the gentleman behind the counter looked up my transaction and it was for the original amount i was charged on his screen which was very strange because on my bank statement it was $ 5 higher than that. Hopefully it was just an honest mistake, but We definitely won’t be returning.

The place is nothing to write home about! Tables were not clean and there was only a couple of people in there so with two people working they could have kept the tables clean. The women’s bathroom was out of paper towels, I told them so and no one made and effort to go in there even though they had time to sit down behind the counter. On to the more important stuff, the burger was pretty darn good! They ain’t cheep but once you get the very nice sized burger that is freshly made with real meat you will be okay with the price! Had the regular cheese burger and fries. Cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just right. It had lots of flavor! The fries are fresh cut with skins on and were cooked perfectly! All in all I would go back maybe for take out though. The places wasn’t bad like a McDonald’s or Burger King dirty so I can not complain all that much.

Ate here for the first time about three days ago. I had the Groovy Burger combo with a vanilla shake and it was the best burger I’ve had in a while! Finally, a decent burger place that keeps it simple yet delicious and the prices are reasonable. The shake was great too and those fries! They could use a little upgrade to the way the place looks inside, but that’s just to please the eye. The palate will definitely be pleased here

NOPE. They’re not even trying at this place. No décor, high prices, mediocre food. Why can’t Silverdale get something right?

I’ve gone a few times, its one of my favorites in Silverdale. The burgers taste good, the staff has always been friendly and they serve beer! They are a great local start up and I can’t wait to see where they go from here.

We went here for the first time today and I have to say this is the place to go if you are craving delicious burgers and fries. Their selection of normal and creative burgers was perfect. My only complaint is how messy(greasy?) the burgers were… But for most that would be a plus!

So you walk in to the place and you order then someone runs your food to you. Then menu could use acouple more items but I do understand why they don’t have that many burger choices. That’s why I am giving it a four instead of a 5 in stars it my bill for a double cheeseburger fries and a soda was $ 11.90 which is expected everywhere else so it’s a reasonable price for a cheeseburger then to add a patty. The only thing I didn’t like about my experience is how much grease flew out of the burger while I was trying it eat it. And my friend had the same problem but I do rate this place a 4\5 and do recommend it.

After much anticipation my son and I stopped in for lunch for the first time today. To begin I wasn’t impressed with our greeting and while we looked at the menu above the register the guy just stares back at us, which was awkward. Then I was really taken back by the prices! The kid’s grilled cheese was $ 6.99, really? We opted to spilt a cheese burger and fries. That was almost $ 12. We went to find a seat and finally settled on the least dirty booth, all were either dirty or the seats themselves were full of crumbs. When our lunch arrived my four year old even asked me why the ketchup container was so sticky and gross. The fries were either over cooked or the grease in the frier was in need of changing. They were mostly unappealing. The burger was decent size, cooked well and the bun was tasty. Unfortunately that is the most positive I can say. Looking at the floors, they hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long, since they only opened less than an hour before we came in I can’t say it was done within the last 24hrs. Having worked in a small yet highly successful burger joint for over a decade, these things stood out to me perhaps greater than the average consumer. I would not return to spend what I consider too much money for what I was hoping to be more. We were given the option to tip when we paid, and I’m glad I didn’t. Poor service, dirty restaurant, mediocre food for the price.

When I think of Groovy, I think of love, fun and peace. What I got here was a grease ladened crumbly patty on a bun unable to stand up to the sloppy mess. There is NO groove here. The counter server was disinterested in serving or even acknowledging our presence. When we walked up to the counter we received no Hello or Welcome, but rather an annoyed blank stare from someone that would rather be anywhere else than at work. He did not reflect Groovy at all. I ordered the Garlic burger and my wife got the Groovy burger, as couples do, we sampled each other’s burgers; they tasted the same! If there was a magic wisp of garlic blown over my crumbled patty, it was light and non-existent. The fries needed salt and were served cold and limp. Once again not Groovy or even semi-Groovy. Even the interior of the restaurant didn’t reflect the names goodness. No flower power, psychedelic vibe, Janus Joplin music or patchouli scent; not even any Greg Brady beads dangling from the doorways! It had a boring old leftover used booth atmosphere with drawings of 50’s movie stars on the wall. Very pre-groovy décor. Very boring. The cost for 2 burger meals was over $ 25! What a waste of money, time and opportunity. I will need to plan my life less on the Groovy side I guess. I don’t want to be associate with their mediocrity version of hipster dining.

Had not read any reviews just picked a ace we had not been to yet. Pleasantly surprised. We walked in greeted from behind the counter, and he walked us through the menu. They do have a veg option which they call a «sloppy veg»…and those burgers and fries are HOT off the kitchen! Excellent!

We took a chance and decided to try this new restaurant. I am glad to see a local, home grown establishment in our midst, and I really hope they are able to roll with the punches, learn, and grow their business. The restaurant seems pretty clean and well stocked upon entering, but it is confusing as to whether one should be seated and order from the table or place an order and then sit. Perhaps an «ORDERHERE» sign and hand held or wall-mounted menus would be an inexpensive work around for those too far away from the monitors to read the somewhat confusing menu. Thankfully the overall menu has few items to keep it simple; it is merely the layout and multiple spelling errors that boggle the mind. The three young men working were friendly and seemed very nice. Unfortunately, the first occurrence that made me grit my teeth was that the guy who took our order DIDNOTREMOVEHISGLOVES when he entered our order on the computerized register and handled our debit card. He then immediately returned to handling food/cooking WITHOUTCHANGINGHISGLOVESORWASHINGHISHANDS. I almost asked for my money and left, but we were both exhausted and starving, so we just watched like hawks as our food was prepared. He changed his gloves shortly thereafter. After we sat down to eat, I watched as the glove cross-contamination circus continued, in and out of the kitchen, not changing gloves… Touching food, touching table condiments, register… I’m sorry, but GROSS. Please fix this — some training is imperative! We each had the garlic burger, but were unable to have sweet potato fries because they were gone. Our food was cooked well. It was served fresh and hot, though my husband ordered bacon and it came on my burger. The service was pretty fast, even as the restaurant was filling quickly. They are still learning how to wrap a burger in lettuce. Perhaps a field trip to In-N-Out is in order? I think that is a perfect excuse! :) The produce was fresh. The tomatoes weren’t great, but it is that time of year. No tomatoes are very good right now. I believe the beef patties were preformed(maybe frozen?). Based on the menu/prices I read before we arrived, I was expecting handmade with specialty beef(organic, grass fed, etcetera) and burger-specific ingredients mixed into the patty(ginger, garlic). One more thing: I realize these young men are working in a diner. However, when the ringer for one’s mobile phone is the sound of a person taking a hit from a water bong, it might be time to consider putting one’s phone on vibrate and in a pocket while at work. That simply isn’t really work appropriate, unless one’s boss is cool with employees representing his/her business in that manner. I know it wouldn’t be acceptable in the company owned by my family. No matter what, I really wish this business the best and sincerely hope they make it. They have a good base from which to build.

Pros: burger tasted great! Fries were great! Atmosphere wasn’t bad at all. Friendly Cons: Expensive! $ 13.62 for meal Asked me for tip while paying before I got food did not like that would rather pay after and tip. On their free time you could clean and tidy up place instead of chilling since it wasn’t perfect. Besides that none of that matters the food was great! Just the price was a little to much. They need to work better on the specials or combo deal or something to keep continuous comebacks.

This burger locale has the best burgers I’ve tasted and I usually don’t like(beef) burgers. Wanted to try out the new joint in town. I wasn’t disappointed, based on the reviews I’ve read. Some people are being a little too harsh on the new restaurant though. I mean, really? Before I knew what a happy meal was, my parents used to order a plain, regular burger with fries and cut it in half for me & my baby sister to eat. I think people are just upset at the prices of the burgers. Really, the burger prices are a bit high, especially since we don’t know where the hamburger meat is coming from. Now, if it was advertised as USDA organic beef, then I’m sure people would have no problem paying a bit more for the burger. Since this is a new restaurant, and they’re just trying to make ends meet, with what little space they were able to afford, I hope everyone from now on gives them a break. We should be supporting everything Kitsap home grown & not monstrous chains. The burgers were really good. I’ve never eaten a burger that was so juicy and it literally falls apart in your mouth. This is coming from a person who usually won’t order ground beef at a restaurant. I was a little worried that my burger was a little undercooked after I found pink in the burger, however, I didn’t get sick. So there you have it. It’s a restaurant that knows how to cook burgers to perfection. The ginger spice burger is really good, but my husband said it could use less ginger. I liked it, but I only had a couple of bites. I ordered the Groovey burger. I liked the Groovey sauce, but I wish I knew what was in it. I’d like to see a southwest spicy burger one of these days, but I think the restaurant is still in the process of developing the menu. I like the idea of the restaurant. If it were mine, I would incorporate complete USDA organic ingredients. There is an overall lack of organic/GMO free restaurants in the Kitsap area, but one can always hope that a restaurant will incorporate healthier ingredients into their menu. The fries were a bit droopy. I like my fries to be a little more crispy. Again, I think this is all in the works of getting better. The fries did taste more like home made. I wish the restaurant would advertise this. I really hope this restaurant doesn’t go under because of the poor and possibly ridiculous reviews they’ve received. I think the restaurant has the potential to be a really great restaurant & I really wish people would give them a chance. If I could address the wait staff. The check in station needs to be by the door and not in the corner. Each customer should feel welcomed to come in the restaurant and you do that by welcoming them at the door and thanking them before they leave. The beverage station should be moved to the local of where the current check in station is. You could have more space for more tables, if you moved that station. I don’t know if this is because you are only renting the space, and you’re unable to relocate certain things or what. Either way, there should be a check in station next to, in front of or close to the door. The staff are undertrained and need to sell the Groovey sauce better. If it’s your trademark, start bottling it and start selling it like its gold. I do have to say though, for the lack of training, the wait staff are very friendly. The customers may feel a bit rushed to leave the restaurant, but if they’re there during peak hours, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. I really hope to see more great things from this restaurant soon. Btw, milkshakes shouldn’t only be advertised on the outside of the restaurant, but also in the menu. Try incorporating a menu insert to show all of the new things the restaurant is now offering or train the wait staff to talk about all of the new things the restaurant is offering. So, to sum it up, the idea of the restaurant is great. I’d love it if you could shut down all of those other corporate burger joints. I feel like you could take some tips to make this dream become a reality. Some Unilocalers have left disenchanted. So you don’t have that wow factor yet, but who’s to say you can’t be a work in progress? The burgers will definitely be having us coming back for more.

Yeah! We have a great Burger Joint in town! The restaurant is simple, with hamburgers being the focus. I had the Groovey Burger and Fries. It was tasty! Fresh lettuce, tomato and red onion slices. It arrived at the table hot, It was a little more than I could eat but the family I was with gobbled up the unfinished portion. Service was great, attentive, place was clean, music was playing but you could easily have a conversation at your table. We were past due for a good Burger place, now we have one! Come out and support them, you won’t be disappointed.
