DeCloedt Chiropractic

I have never been to a chiropractor. I was a bit worried but needed my back problem addressed and not just medicated.
Dr. DeCloedt was fantastic. Hsi entire staff was so nice yet professional. Dr. DeCloedt spent the time to explain what was going on and helped me to develop a game plan to address my back pain. In the past, when I visited my doctor, He would just medicate me and not fix the problem.
I am so happy I made this decision.

Just started treatment. So far so good. No pain & feeling a little better. Will continue with my treatment for awhile longer. Then a monthly tune up! Staff here is friendly and always on time. No waiting!

Dr. Decloedt has been a joy to work with. I have been seeing Dr. Decloedt for over 5 months now and my back has been feeling so much better. He is a class act and relates very well to all of his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Decloedt!

Dr. Shawn makes you feel like a part of the extended family and not just like another patient and $$$ signs. He genuinely is involved in getting you better. He goes above and beyond. We now see him as a family. I started seeing him in early 2014 and then sent my husband to him and eventually my son. He has made a huge impact in our physical well being. He is there to help you get better, and not to fatten his wallet. And the fact he is soooo involved with his kids, just goes to show what a good and caring and nurturing and down to earth person he is. If your considering a chiropractor in the Ventura County. I love me some Dr. Shawn and his wonderful peoples that work with him. I’ve had back problems because of a silly, but serious accident that happened awhile ago. My back, especially my lower back (because of my accident) and shoulders (because that’s where I carry all my stress) have given me issues.
So let me begin by saying that Dr. Shawn was my first chiropractor. So when you start with someone/​something really good and have no idea what the rest of the world holds out there… Well you know where this is going. So I was on a treatment with the Doc for about a year and a half. The area of my back that hurt just when you simply tapped it no longer suffered from that crazy pain. Yay!
But then I decided – against my better judgement – to take a break; I was healed-​ish! And because work was eating me alive and due to a personal tragedy, I didn’t have time for myself. During this time I would come across random chiropractors that I dropped in on and EW no. No thank you for half-​way adjusting my back; no thank you for giving me more pain than I came in with; no thank you for getting me to use weird contraptions – no, I don’t stretch that way and that hella hurts; and nooooo thank you for trying to sell me on a bunch of random ish!
Dr. Shawn gracefully took me back after disappearing for a year, but not without a li’l ‘ol lecture and being teased about how I knew better :) And I did, I did know better! Dr. Shawn is my kinda doc. He and his staff are very pleasant, down to earth, accomodating and easy to speak with. I appreciate that Dr. Shawn remembers and maintains a relationship with each of his patients, I’ve never felt like a file or a number. After the tragedy that happened in my family he would randomly check in on my mom (who is also his patient) and me. How’s that for a holistic doc? He is very passionate about his treatments and truly cares deeply about his patients. It’s not everyday where you get to walk into a docs office with this type of atmosphere. Thank you Doc!
