Allow me to tell you a little story: I have dedicated my life for the past several years focusing on many activities & charities that pertain to children and our local community. Giving back to our community is a vital part of my philosophy and I most recently joined the board of directors for The Joshua Project Foundation. Joshua is 9 years old and blind. He has many wishes but one is quote clear to him. He has a desire to place braille in grocery stores nationwide. To date, he has succeeded with 5 stores — 4 Whole Foods and 1 Gelson’s. The foundation is built from love, gratitude and the grass roots of creating something special. One day it will be a large non-profit and benefit the blind nationwide who do not shop at grocery stores as they lack convenience and comfort. I am proud to assist The Joshua Project Foundation and look forward to their growth in the coming years as we pave the way for change in the way others shop.
