I hired Jim Wilson last year to redo my roof and balcony, a $ 10,000 job. He came off as a good family man, referring constantly to his church activities and young children. However, after the 1^st major rains after the work was done, both my roof & balcony are leaking heavily. I have 3 buckets under 1 area of my roof, and I just noticed that the ceiling of the room underneath the balcony is peeling, yellow, and cracked — due to major water damage. 2 weeks ago, when I first noticed the roof leak, I called and left 3 messages on Jim’s cell & office numbers. No call back. Last week, I called both #s, only to find that his office # is now disconnected. What good is a 10 year warranty on the balcony & even more years on the roof if the contractor skips town?
