If you’re just looking for quick, basic groceries this isn’t a bad place to shop. During the summer it’s like shopping on a polar ice cap(it’s SO cold) inside. They have slow service at checkout and though the prices are on the low side the selection is really limited. The meats here aren’t as good as at the Happy Foods by Elston. I stopped in really quick to get something for lunch on a break one day and after scowering the store the only thing I could find was a Lunchables box with crackers, cheese and turkey… At that point I would have killed for the Lunchables pizzas, tacos, ANYTHING else! But no, their selection of LUNCHABLES even was just whatever. My second choice was an oversized box of crackers that I would not have probably ever finished… I just recommend you drive a few extra minutes and grab food at a Jewel.

The rating I’m not sure what to give… two or three. Two and a half is best. Like Michelle F. had stated, its your one stop when you REALLY need to get something quick. The vegetables and the deli area look tired and old? Like, someone just threw some shit on a rack and hoped someone might buy it. They had ground beef on special today, $.99 cents a pound. Some of it looked fresh and some looked like it just turned. Whats funny is they have all the alcohol near the registers. I assume most of their customers are elderly and go straight for the cheap wine. They have a big selection of that. While I was there, I witnessed at least three elderly customers come in for a bottle at 2 in the afternoon. Hot dates I guess. I needed some cold 2-liters, they didn’t have any. A few 24 oz soda bottles in an open air cooler towards the back of the store. HEY! Martinelli’s apple juice in the individual glass bottles, nice! There are a few select items that wow you, in the aisles. You just need to have some patience and look around.

Produce is just a little older than I would like to purchase. The deli section is alright. If you need to make a quick stop in or forgot something, this place is a good place to run out to.

Stop here if you need something immediately, or for specials on meats or dairy. I just wouldn’t chance my family with their produce. It usually looks pretty crummy, and I’ve found plenty of rotten strawberries. But the location is very convenient, and it’s easy to get in and out.

Happy foods is a good place to stop if you need to make a quick stop for some groceries. It’s a small store with pretty much just the essentials. Parking can be hard to find at times…
