Took almost 10 minutes just to get menus. Nobody ever took our drink order, no chips, no salsa, no drinks for 15 min. The waitress and bartender both seemed attentive to other patrons while completely ignoring us. Finally had to get up and walk out after 15 min of being totally ignored and neglected. Terrible and disrespectful service doesn’t even begin to describe Salsa Street.

Food was fantastic, authentic, and had that «made from scratch» feel. Ordered the Carne Asada and let me tell you it was amazing. Wife got the quesadillas which were a little more dressed up than expected. Their tortilla soup was spectacular as well.
The drinks are a little light on the pour, but the food is good.

Very good prices. Had the pork and fish taco platter and think the meat needed a little bit more flavor. Husband has quesadilla which was the same. Margarita was delicious!!!

Excellent fresh food and homemade from scratch right down to the tortilla chips and salsa. Nice outdoor dining space, simple bar/​restaurant interior. Good service. Excellent chimichangas, not exactly as crispy as the typical Americanized versions but very tasty and packed with meat, beans and veggies. Homemade green salsa is delicious. And prices are reasonable.

We had a craving for Mexican last night and found this Hidden Treasure! The chips and salsa to the tacos, rice and black beans! All were very delicious! Everyone was very nice and friendly! We will definitely be going back again and again!

Our family had a 50th birthday party here last night for my aunt. We had 70 people on the patio. The food and margaritas were delicious, and the staff/​owners were very professional, hard working and all around pleasant to be around. I highly recommend and encourage anyone who loves authentic Mexican food to visit Salsa Street!

Very good Margaritas (get The Street) and the taco varieties were awesome. I don’t know which of the three I liked best. Probably the Al Pastor but the fish was really tasty too.
Great value, low prices and we’ll definitely be back when the weather warms so we can enjoy the outdoor seating.

My kids and I love this place. Food is really good quality. I only have 2 small complaints:
1 That they would have daily specials. I. e ½ price margarita night, dinner specials etc. and
2. That everything wasn’t Ala Carte.
I recommend the guacamole trio… a great appetizer size for 2 adults and 2 small kids.

This place is like a hidden gem. We never saw this place in the thousand times that we have passed on Higgins. Found it on Unilocal looking for a Mexican place for dinner sunday night and thought of giving it a try. I had frozen Mango Margarita and it was sooo amazing. The portion sizes are good too for the main dishes. We had chicken tinga taco, chicken and steak fajitas. Food was delicious and we are definitely coming back here again.

Me and my boyfriend saw the patio and decided to stop in. This was our first time. And definitely not our last. The food was great. The green salsa they serve with the chips and salsa as you sit down was the best salsa I’ve had. Love it ! I absolutely love that you can order just one taco vs a whole meal. The rice and black beans they serve with the platter was soooo good ! And their prices are so affordable as well !
I had the shrimp taco it was perfect. My boyfriend had the chorizo taco and said it was great as well.
I’m really not a big fan or Mexican food. But this place is just wonderful.
Not to mention the margaritas are super affordable and delicious! I had the berry-​Rita and you couldn’t even tell there was tequila in it ! Perfect !
Highly recommend.

Came in for lunch. The Taco entrée is 3 tacos for $ 10 with cilantro/​lime rice and black beans. I got the Braised Creamy Chicken, Chicken Carnita, and Al Pastor, each of them were very flavorful and filling. The beef nachos are a leviathan of a meal for only $ 8, seriously huge portions that i dont recommend taking on alone. We also had the Street Corn which was good.

Not completely satisfied with the taste. Food tasted like it was undercook especially the rice & beans. I ordered the chicken carnitas was not satisfied with them. Our server only came twice before the meal came and one time after to check up & ask if we needed boxes…

I came here with my wife on a rare dinner night out on the recommendation of a friend, and was not at all disappointed. We were told to try this place just based on the quality of the margaritas, and they alone were worth the visit.
That said, I was also pleasantly surprised at their fish tacos. Whenever I see that on the menu, it’s almost impossible for me to turn down, and some places get it right and some leave a bit to be desired. Here, however, the fish tacos were among the best I have had.

Came on a Thursday, not busy at all. Nice décor and not obnoxious; large patio for seating if you wish. I liked their salsa: very bright and flavorful. My wife got 2 tacos and I got a 3 taco platter.
The good:
Nice portions. The Chicken tracks are great, the fish taco was very good but not «West Coast» great. The rice was good as we’re the beans. Their chips are awesome: so flavorful and crispy. I wish I had tried the pork.
The not so good:
Not a fan of the Chorizo Taco, not sure why as I like Chorizo. It was really strong in flavor.
Overall:
Liked it a lot. Reasonable cost and good quality. I will come again.
