For years I was a number at Bank of America, earning little interest on my savings, keeping a certain balance to avoid fees, and just many annoying little things. Flash forward to a few months ago, I finally decided to make the switch to another bank(which can be a tedious process). After doing my research I opened up an account at Navigant and I have been very impressed so far. The staff was so friendly and always willing to help, they have a great mobile app/online banking, and many locations near where I live, although I don’t really do alot of in person banking. I think the best thing about my experience is the interest I earn on my accounts. They have the Journey Checking Program where if you have a direct deposit, e-statements, and use your debit card 12 times a month you get 1.75% interest on any balance in your account at the end of the month! On top of this there are no fees and they reimburse you for up to $ 25 per month on withdrawal fees from other ATMs. If you are looking to support a local bank, I would recommend Navigant. I look forward to continue banking with them for the foreseeable future!

In this crazy world, I try hard to deal with local and/or small businesses. I opened an account at Navigant a couple of years ago and I have to say, I am happy with my decision. I usually frequent the location in Smithfield(on Route 44, going North). The staff is fantastic. They are so helpful, both in person and over the phone. Their online banking system is very user-friendly. So where’s there that extra star? I really wish that they would have extended day hours at least once a week… and have a location in Providence!

ave been a customer for over a year now. I recently over drafted my account by a few transactions most of which were $ 7 to $ 20 each. The credit union charged me $ 31 each transaction totaling $ 310. When I called to question this since it was the first time it ever happened, they finally signed me up for overdraft protection linking it to my savings. I thought I had already had this, but I only had overdraft privilege. Don’t know who’s error that was since it was over a year ago now. When questioning the error, they would only revers two of the fee’s unless I could speak with the person who opened my account. What’s $ 62 out of $ 310. Not only that it took 3 business days to finally have a manager call me about this issue. I have talked to several people about this and they know that fee’s at other banks are usually reversed if you have not had this happen in the past. Not to mention we don’t know who’s error it is that I did not have my accounts linked. I am now closing my accounts

If you are looking for a new bank, try Navigant Credit Union. EXCELLENT customer service!!! Been a member for 5 years now, and I also handle my business accounts through Navigant!
